As those have already stated, the trail head is a mile and a half from the visitor's center where you start when snowshoeing. It wasn't overly crowded. Stunning views on a beautiful day. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great hike.. crossing the slide area was definitely challenging but the rest of the hike was very doable

St Patricks day hike. 35 degrees at the trail head. Areas of water over trail but easily passable. Still a little snow at the top. More elevation gain than expected, trail overall in good shape. Over, under and around a few logs. Happy I brought poles.

Beautiful trail, well marked & maintained. Good for all skill levels.

Beautiful stroll / hike!! So many beautiful boardwalks. Camp Alva is a wonderful, well maintained campground. I think I saw 3 sites total. There is a creek for water if you need. Hung out with a couple local deer and bald eagles. The hike on the beach and rocks went well since I timed it with low tide. It's a quick backpacking trip. Would definitely do it again!

Gorgeous trail! We did this on a sunny day in March and it was perfect, plenty of traffic but not enough that it felt crowded

Not a difficult hike at all. I did the 6 miles round trip, and it’s only 1k elevation change. The weather was amazing but they do call it hurricane ridge for a reason, it’s windy. Good amount of snow from the lodge to summit. Views are amazing, on a clear day, you can see Mt. Baker, Straight of Juan de Fuca, and awesome vistas from the Olympics. Highly recommend!!!

Nice short hike with 2 cool bridges to cross. Water is crystal clear.

Definitely a technical hike. You have to leap across three streams and traverse a landslide. The landslide was terrifying, serious risk of falling. View is incredible, the little shack at the top is a great place for lunch.

this one is fairly easy, pretty but also very beautiful to see all the green and the water, fresh water at that. I've taken my granddaughter up there she's 6 months old it was just beautiful and didn't take very long

this Trail is Muddy year round so expect to get muddy it's easy all the way up until the end then it has a steep slope which has a rope to get down to a beach. the water is dangerous though so be careful

this Trail is very long. the way down is a boardwalk till you get to the beach the beach across to the next Boardwalk is the difficult part walking through the sand and over rocks but being able to see the Petra Clift is amazing you do have to look for it to be able to see it because some of them are slightly worn away. but definitely an amazing experience

beautiful scenery year-round. i highly recommend a visit in mid Autumn though for the myriad of colors and depth throughout the trail.

The trail is as muddy as they say, there are a lot of side trails to bypass the mud but you’re still gonna get muddy. I’d recommend coordinating your trip for low tide so you can explore the tide pools and more of the beach, plus it’s easier walking on hard packed sand.

Stunning views of the sea stacks and ocean.

Beautiful! Super nice and easy!!

This was a challenging yet doable hike for a beginner snowshoer. Amazing views made it all worth it. Just note that it is a mile and a half from the visitor center to the trail head. We did 6 miles roundtrip. Also, the road to the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center was in good condition but only open Friday - Sunday in the winter 9am to 5pm. Best to get there early. We were waiting in line at the gate at 8:40am, got to the Visitor Center parking at 9:30. Started hiking at 10am and back to the car just before 2pm.

Great hike! enjoyed the falls and moss filled landscape!

Nice one for the family! Rewarded with a beautiful waterfall!

Easy and beautiful

It’s a great hike down to the beach but is almost entirely downhill. Once reaching the bottom, there are large amounts of driftwood to navigate before reaching sand. It’s truly a sight once you’re on the beach. The only let down was some trash from humans. The walk back was entirely uphill and tiring. The trail is one lane only so sometimes you have to stand aside to let traffic pass. Be prepared to be a little wore out after traversing sand and the uphill climb combo

Very easy walk around an incredible environment

A beginner hiker may get winded on the ascent but it is SO worth it when you get to the top. I would 100% do it again. Make sure you bring water and sunscreen. There’s very little tree coverage

beautiful mountains and view❤️

pretty falls but very short hike. sign says 1.5 hrs. It took us a half hour roundtrip.

Beautiful hike. Very accessible, easy going but nevertheless transports you to a different planet. More of a nature-walk than hike.

Not as impressive as the Hall of Mosses trail but still a nice walk. A nice view up the river from one or two points too.

Pleasant walk in a lovely, lush, green forest. Definitely worth a visit, and it doesn't take very long at all.
