A lot of stairs at the end. I’d say it’s longer than .75 miles each way also. I’d recommend Sol Duc over these falls for ease of hike and reward at the end.

Gorgeous thundering triple waterfall! The hike was easy especially compared to others we’ve done. Beautiful old growth. It was raining the whole hike and still worth it!

Great trail! Almost didn’t do it because it was raining but we threw on waterproof shoes, pants and a jacket and it was well worth the trouble! Gorgeous trees. And occasionally the sun would peak through the trees for a few minutes and it was beautiful. The waterfall was very picturesque and we had it all to ourselves. Worth it!

Great view of the beach via a short walk. Nice area for photography.

Easy, short hike to a nice waterfall.

Lots of beautiful trees. Love the green river. Spotted some mushrooms and a ton of snails. Saw a field mouse too!

Short trail to a beautiful beach. Even though it was a tad crowded, it was still worth visiting! One rock formation is right on the beach. Others are not too far out into the water and make for some great pictures. Also really neat to see where the river drains into the ocean.

Nice hike. Check to make sure the trail is open the day you plan to hike it.

Wonderful trail. bring shoes that can get a bit muddy in case it rains.

I did this trail for my first backpacking trip. It was great, except for the pouring rain but just the weather. I camped on the edge of the woods near Wolf Creek and the privy. If the rain and high tide weren’t an issue, I would have stayed on the beach. I didn’t see any bears but I did see deer, slugs, squirrels, millipedes, spiders, and some kind of beetle.

Very tough trail. We went in to do the whole loop around to the lake and made it 4 miles in. Our 10 year old gave out and we had to turn back. Beautiful forest but didn’t make it up enough to see the views.

Hike was definitely a steep incline going up. Took us just under two hours to get to the top and about 1 hr 15 min to get down. Decently in shape but still getting acclimated to the elevation change. Lake is beautiful but definitely would have been more enjoyable if it was raining as much, which made visibility a bit hard.

Not very Exciting very Foggy at the Top And at the Lake best go on a Sunny Clear Day.

They didn’t misname this one! It feels like the switchbacks will never end, but they’re never unbearable. Still wildflowers lining the trail and views most of the way. Pretty narrow, you’ll have to be creative on sharing the trail. From the saddle at Klahhane Ridge, you can see towards Port Angeles and Strait of Juan de Fuca on one side and into the heart of the Olympics on the other.

Good trail - a little bit of everything to see with regards to the forest in Olympic. Tough back track to trailhead though - roads. Plan to start at the hot springs resort not the trailhead.

Very easy trail but worth going to learn more about the rain forest. We even saw an owl sitting in a tree! We arrived relatively late on a Saturday (around 5:30 pm) but it was still pretty crowded so don’t expect an empty trail. Unfortunately we couldn’t do the whole loop because of a wasp nest.

Great loop filled with river and waterfall views, completely covered in beautiful mossy trees and ferns. Fairly flat but lots of tree roots, fungi, and bugs to be careful of - including one giant banana slug! Popular stop at the waterfall and shelter but stay on the campground route instead of the road/resort route to keep the nature going :-)

We drove up around 7pm and the drive down was a bit tough especially the 8-mile unpaved road was dark after 8pm. The view is fantastic, you can see the blue mountains, the slopes down the mountains, ocean and clouds covering the surrounding. Highly recommended!

Sandy beach for miles. Just north of rock monoliths and the crowd dies down. Dog friendly.

Not a hike, just a pleasant stroll in the woods to an awesome waterfall.

Trail was very busy and the waterfall can only be seen from a view point which was a little disappointing. The falls were easy to access and there was only a couple flights of stairs.
