Great park! I’d suggest taking a picture of the map before you get started. All Trails doesn’t cover all the routes available in this park, and there’s a connection between the rim trail, and the yellow and brown loops that hasn’t been updated on the map in park.
Absolutely beautiful place to visit! Great passable hiking trails.
Early wild flowers down by the lake, good temperature for the walk.
Awesome trail with great views! Its listed as 8 miles but it was 4 miles out and back! I Don't think missed any blazers...I ends close to the lodge.
Great loop trail. Watch your ankles... lots of rocks around! Hiked today with my Wife and Son and his girlfriend. Other than a few small muddy spots, trail is in great shape this season!
Not too muddy, a large tree was down over the path near the mill but no other issues.
This is a fantastic loop trail. You can get off the trail past the house to go see beautiful cliffs, and some small water falls, and of course great woodland scenery. Ticks are terrible this year. No exaggeration, between myself and the person I was with I removed close to 20 maybe more
awesome park!
Very dry and perfect temperature. Lots of people out today. <3
clear, easy and much better marked than 5 years ago, when I hiked it last. it is a fairly easy trail to hike. You don't get views until you hit the lake.
so much to see on this trail! a bit busy but worth it.
Totally Bummed Out! I went to do some trail riding, but these trails are not rideable for one. And two, bikes are not allowed on the trails. There was a road that you could ride on for a couple blocks on the residential street until you get to the boat launch and that's where it was closed off. So I hiked the trails instead and they were great. But again... No Bicycles on the trails. Remove the MTB tag for any of these trails here.
Lots if others enjoying the trail but not so much that it took away from the hike
Nice little walk. There are some great points with nice views. A tad muddy, but good overall.
I'm in the area for work, I googled places to hike with a waterfall, this place did not disappoint. it was a beautiful cold morning. I got there early and was the only one on the trails for a little while, beautiful place to hike, it was muddy but so worth it. I didn't bring hiking shoes ( wasn't expecting an off day) , I hiked in my white tennis shoes, lol, I slipped and fell in the mud , I didn't let that ruin my day, got up and carried on , another memory made.
Muddy, but to be expected! Loved the falls. i would recommend parking down by the log house first, taking the Rim Trail to the Gorge Trail, then back up to the Rim Trail. The gorge trail has a good cliff to walk under and a neat look at some rapids/smaller waterfalls.
Great hike. Not too muddy.
