Good trail with a nice variety of elevation. Took my 10 year old and she did great.

Loved it!!! It’s a lot of incline, lose rocks! I would recommend you take a hiking stick!

Easy trail. no shade. so the earlier the better

This was a great hike! I took my 10 year old along and he had no problem keeping up. When we got to the caves El Paso PD was there conducting extraction training. They took the time to explain what they were doing which my son loved. Shout out to our men and women in blue!

Moderate hike for me. The views up there are breathtaking. I came on a Thursday were they said it was close but they are always upen for hikes. The store is the one closed.
First time in El Paso but I loved it

Extremely beautiful views. New to the area, first trail hiked here. Great work out. I loved using the metal chains to climb up and down seemingly impassible rock formations. Not for children.

Great hike . Lots of rocks to slip on so be careful! Near the top is a little steep but the peace at the top of the caves is worth it !

I have done this hike many times, I even went last year with a yoga group. Dare to dream, try to go when there is a ranger trip, you learn about the history,

It was moderate for 3/4 of the trail but the end near the caves is extremely steep. I could not make it to the top. My anxiety and vertigo became severe and after several panic attacks I sat on a boulder while my husband explored the caves. With the hazardous rock laden trail and its steepness, and my panic induced stops, it took a total of three hours.

This trail is moderate for experienced hikers and thrill seekers.

my kids loved it, short but gets you pumped. My 2 year old never left trail, very nice guided.
definitely be back and take advantage of museums

Great boost for beginners. Good incline changes, uphill and downhill terrain. Easy to navigate. Bring water if you are hiking in the sun like I did. Got my heart rate up and had a great time. Beautiful views of the city.

Beautifully kept trail and an easy hike up! Took me and a friend about an hour and a half total to get up and back. Awesome views at the top! The incline at the very beginning feels tough, but after that it’s gradual smooth sailing. A must do if in the area.

Good hike but the rocky trail surface is annoying and provides for a precarious trip down!

Great quick hike! It's a bit challenging towards the top but the caves up there provide a cool respite :)

Parking was a little rough having to leave your car next to the road. Trail is nice once you get off the Jeep path. Cave was easy to find.

good hike last little bit is tough but it was worth it. I will be back with a flashlight to negotiate the actual mines

great hike. but alil to long for my kids. but we still made it.

Very nice trail, not too long not to steep, with wonderful views of the Franklin Mountains. You walk near a beautiful small canyon contemplating a nice landscape.

Great hike and pet friendly

Extremely rocky. Go slow.

Easy loop but interesting geology.

I thought it was a fairly easy trail for hiking. My friend’s young son (about 10 yrs old) joined us and he had no issues doing it. For mountain biking though I do feel it would be a much harder trail. Saw some pretty cool fossils.

windy day but nice overcast.

Easy hiking and great views!!
