Great walk with Lambo my Golden Retriever, not sure who’s more tired...

Best place in the city

This is something I recommend to everyone visiting the city. It provides a different view of the city and was a great way to repurpose the old railroad.

Escape from the city within the city

The best , everything well the only app you need for trails

Nice hills. Clear trails . Amazing its in ny.

This is such a wonderful example of the repurposing power of landscape architecture. It's a very flat walk for all ages, skill levels and elevators provide universal access for all to enjoy.

Beautiful views for either a run or casual walk

Good for running and/or walking.

Easy and touristy!

this is one of my favorite places to go in NYC. it gets really crowded, though, so push to go early early or during a light rain or something.

I run Central Park really often, doing the different loops. highly recommended, although there are quite a lot of people on the south end.

beautiful run, but a bit short. you can push it to a 30ish minute run using side trails and just sort of staying to the outside.

this is part of the West Side Greenway and we run it at least once a week. really great section with some Rock art, bathrooms and water at 145th, and access points at 181,168 (sort of), 155, 145, and 125 streets. it's right along the Hudson and features The Little Red Lighthouse just inder the George Washington Bridge.

we run this trail three times a week, but out to go by the salt Marsh rather than up the hill. such a fun run!

Really a horse trail. Loose cinder trail. Similar to a fire road. Not technical at all. Good for building endurance.

Beautiful scenery and chilled fresh air. Trails are great, just not long enough.

Great views out over the East River and back toward New York Harbor, and some interesting historical markers along the way. One of the most iconic bridges in the world. But man does it get crowded! Keep out of the bike lane unless you want to get run over. Nice walk to DUMBO where you can have a quick lunch, then return to Manhattan.

Pretty cool space. I love that this area could be turned into some kind of open space above street level. Busy and popular!

Crossed this off my to-do list. Such a historically important bridge, was cool to walk through history a little bit. I went at 7am on a drizzly Thursday morning, so crowds weren't too bad.

One of the absolute gems of New York City!!!

Very easy path to follow with plenty of places to stop, sit and enjoy. Now that the weather is warming up there are plenty of people on the High Line, and when we walked the High Line the crowd was huge, yet the noise was minimal. There are also a handful of food/drink stations along the way as well as a couple of gift shop kiosks and a few street vendors. I suggest you take your time, enjoy the quietness and beautiful landscape.

Love this place

We actually did the whole loop and it eventually took 4 hours and about 6 miles. Wonderful. Pick up a map at Columbus Circle for $2 to keep track of the different sights. The lady also gave us good info such as the waterfalls in the northeast corner. Have a bite at the boathouse. Take water bottle and you can fill up. A must do if you are in NY.

Fun trail

best ride ever

It’s cool because it’s unique - you’re above the city! That said it’s also usually very crowded and not super green or spacious - it’s pretty narrow. Has some cool sunbathing chaise-lounges that you can chill in on the way, plus a lot of cool sculptures! ☺️
