So many trails for mountain biking! I love this area, and it is truly a mountain bikers playground.

Good views. Good for running and taking out of towners to.

It was a good hike . I definitely saw some criminal types hanging around the parking lot so I didn’t venture super far from vehicle but fun all the same

Great trail! So many beautiful sites. Great workout but, not too hard. Be sure to take the small off trails to the overlook and waterfall on the backside of the lake.

Walked up the Erie Mountain Drive to trail 26 and took it. Branched off at trail 216 to go to the Mount Erie lookout. Walked the road all the way back down. Round trip, it was 5.7 km. Nice short hike. I'd say the trail is maybe moderate in difficulty..? We didn't have any trouble with it. Views from the top were incredible. We hit it on a sunny day with low-lying cloud below the lookout - just gorgeous!

One of my favorite hikes in the area! Beautiful, well maintained trail with a sweet, woodsy fragrance that's impossible to describe. Linger at the lake for a swim & packed lunch.
Will be a little challenging for new hikers but on the easy side for stronger ones.

Awesome trail for hiking! Beautiful fall foliage. If you reverse the loop, it makes a doable trail run too. Love this trail!

Nice trails throughout. Parking lot has an awesome lookout point.

Quick but invigorating 2-hour hike with lots of Fall color on this late October day. Be sure to take the .2 mile hop out to the view point overlooking Bellingham Bay and the San Juan islands, and the .75 mile loop around the little lake. (This makes for a total distance 5 miles, up and back to the parking lot.) Enjoy a handful of pretty spots on the lake edge for snacks and the pretty view. A classic Bellingham hike with easy-moderate difficulty.

Hiked on Saturday 21s of Oct. Weather was perfect and hike was very colorful with fall foliage.

Lake was very pretty, with loop around entire lake. We were graced why the presence of a bald eagle in a tree on the west side of the lake, too.

Trail is in perfect condition. If you haven’t hiked the trail, you find the trail head in the Larrabee State Park lot, on the East side of Chuckanut drive, just south of the Larrabee State Park Campground. Even on a Saturday, the trail wasn’t heavily used. A few mountain bikers, possibly 6 other groups of hikers. .

Beautiful mountain views the entire hike! Lots of steep switchbacks and definitely longer than 2.5 miles r/t. Our app showed approx 1,300' elevation gain. We also ended at the little maroon colored square at the end of the dotted line, not where All Trails has the trail ending at Sauk Mountain peak. Looked on our descent and did not see a trail going to the right. View from the trailhead is really pretty for those who don't choose to hike it.

Took us a half hour to get up the road in our 2WD van, but we made it to the trailhead just fine.

Wow this is beautiful and very worth the trip in the fall with the leaves turning!!

No Lighthouse!! But none the less a beautiful hike. Easy enough for the whole family. Tried to add on the moderate part of the hike and had to back out, not traveled enough and I am not experienced enough.

We hiked this today and it was absolutely stunning! The colors have all changed and we were surrounded by beauty the entire hike. We went in the afternoon which I highly recommend as we basically had the trail all to ourselves. As prior reviews have stated, the road to get to the trailhead is pretty iffy and I wouldn’t have attempted it without my SUV.

가는 길이 비포장도로 임. 그래도 멋짐

Amazing! A must go hike.

The trails are certainly five star, but I got back to my truck to find it had been broken into. I’ve hiked there six times now and the damage to my truck was $1200 so that comes to $200 a hike. My problem is, once again the Rangers have done absolutely nothing to catch the person doing this damage so it’s just not worth going there to me. If you decide to hike there be vigilant and keep an eye out for shady characters. The window repair place that repaired my vehicle said they’ve repaired several vehicles with damage from Little Mountain Park.

Considerably easy and short. Beautiful views. Depending on vehicle, you may want to walk the last .5 mike to the trailhead.

very easy hiking. nice afternoon hike

Great walk for the whole family. There is even a portapotty by the rv Park if someone needs to go. Lots of benchs along the way, placed in ideal locations for the best views.

Beautiful and not very hard

Spectacular views the whole hike! We could even see Mt Baker today. The parking lot was nearly full when we arrived at 9:45. The drive to the trailhead is 7.5 miles. on a rough, narrow gravel road with many potholes. The potholes the last 1/4 mi. are huge, but we managed to make it in our Prius after watching some others navigate them first. There is a spot for 2 or 3 cars to park before the potholes. There is as pit toilet at the trailhead.
This is my favorite hike because of the sweeping views of the Cascades, river, and valley below. My Gaia app calculated this hike at 3.3 miles r.t.

Nice offering of trails - different skill levels and inclines. Mountain bike trails make for easy hiking w/ switchbacks. Hiking only trails were a better workout w/ steeper inclines. Don’t use “Directions” provides thru this app - search by Little Mountain Park and park at top of road (or one of trailheads along the way). Bring lunch and eat at one of the two lookouts. If you want to park at bottom so you can climb first, park at Silver Arrow Bowmen archery range.

We took a half of this trail. We parked the car on RV park, there is a parking place for walkers. This trail is super cool for inline skating, but I didnt see any. In our country is in line skating very popular and this trail would be full of people. We also saw a seals and from this trail you see the Baker mt. and the industrial park (rafinery). A star minus, you hear a noise from the road.

Nice little trail for hiking, and running. Very beautiful. Would be a pretty nice for mountain biking but they are not aloud.

this trail remains in great shape! try to go early as parking is limited to about 4 cars. the views of the San Juans are amazing!

Great trail, lots of switch backs, beautiful surroundings with the blanket of ferns amongst majestic trees. The view of the city and bay from the west side is stunning and there’s also a view of Mt. Baker on the southeast side. We will return
