Just did it today. Very peaceful.

You'll have to scramble across a few streams along the way, but there's a waterfall at the end!

Great day hike with my young Cub Scout

fun little run. not a lot of other people around which is good

The trail was extremely easy due to it being well maintained. A portion of it was a preserved habitat for California Gnatcatchers so there are no dangers to it. I ended up taking multiple different paths and ended up at the "Top of The World" just in time for a beautiful sunset. Total trip was about 7 miles and almost 2 hours.

Recommend for beginners or casual hikers.

This is a good trail for escaping the city and heat during the summer and getting a workout on the process.
Pros: lots of shade, pretty foliage around you, wide and well-maintained trail and ends at a lively waterfall.
Cons: paid parking (or adventure pass or nfs pass) and CROWDED. Lots and lots of people, which means parking is more and more difficult and you run into large, organized groups of hikers.

Overall, this is a great getaway for the day, but don't expect peace and quiet or a difficult workout; go for the shade, stroll and waterfall views.

The redwood grove is a nice area to walk around and relax.

Well travelled. Took Moro ridge up and back. Good starting climb and restrooms at about two and a half miles. Great view coming back!

Does any one can tell me what time is this open ? Thanks !!

Great spot to walk with dogs and kids. I was pleasantly surprised with the beauty of this walk. Nice paved path and it felt like we were out of the city. First walk in November and going to keep going back. Looking forward to seeing it during spring time!

It’s a park

Fun for the family

I hiked this for the first time and it was a nice hike! I ended up doing 8 miles because I took a few wrong turns

The scenery is okay, but when you get to the top the views are beautiful. The hike is fairly easy. Well marked and clean trails. You can end the day at the beach with the same day pass.

Nice campsites, clean toilet, great view. A little damp in the morning from coastal dew

Someone was asking whether this trail is open. Yes, it is. I was there today 11/18/18 and it was open.

Got a little lost and went up through the canyons but overall not too bad. Lots of steep parts. There’s an ocean view only in the beginning or end of the trail depending which end you start at. The rest of the trail is just dried shrubbery.

Expect to pay $15 day parking on the weekend. M-F parking is only $5!

Overall good workout and great weather!

does anyone knows if this trail is open?

Karla Gomez has no idea what a review encompasses. It's unfortunate that it's closed due to the recent fires but by no means does it diminish the beauty of it. It's a neat little trail with ample shade and plenty to look at.

Great 2ish hour hike! Incline is a bit steep otw up but the views are definitely pretty! No shade so wear a hat!

the redwood grove is quite nice. very flat and easy. very kid friendly

Great ride on Sunday afternoon when hikers are done.

Loved it!! Such an amazing peaceful place

Great view.

It is a good hike overall, but not great. The length is recorded more of a 3.8 mile hike.

Initial descent is steep and on a road for the first 3/4 mile. From there it’s dirt roads/trails.

Several other hikers along the trail, one of which warned of a rattle snake ahead on the trail.

Unfortunately we got to the end and there was no water at the falls. Definitely a disappointment, but just no rain recently to provide the spectacle.

This is your go-to family friendly hike. Be sure to arrive early as parking spots fill up quickly. (I suggest arriving around 8 am unless you want to hike to the trailhead) You will need an Adventure pass. You could purchase a day permit near the trailhead for 5 dollars, make sure you have it in cash. Have fun!

There's no water today.

This is not an easy trail this is a hike down with many rock and boulders that you will have go to over. Do not attempt to go here with slippers or non-skid tennis shoes. I slipped having to go over rocks.

Otherwise enjoy the scenery and some graffiti.

Nice trails, beautiful views.

The trail is nice, Maintained with a fantastic view.
