Great hike, Idk what people are talking about. I thought the orange blazed trails were marked fine. I loved the waterfall and the running streams through the trail. A little bit of a workout but very peaceful.

Pretty packed down trail, all I used were yaktraks and I had no issue. Good little hike!

Great quick hike for relatively good views.

Just a relaxing stroll.
Great lunch break.

Great walk but not an easy hike.

Nice hike ... not difficult at all .. perfect if you’re looking for a short hike

Super scenic! Easy reverse hike (downhill first). Pretty sure it’s only 1 mile total.

If your looking for a workout look no further. Started at Holyoke range state park and trekked to mt. Holyoke in Skinner state park across Seven sisters ect. Did hike early Nov. found the trail to be quiet and challenging with leaves and wet terrain. I loved it. I’m a hiker who likes to make good time. My poles were a true asset. Took me 5 hrs for the 11.5. Trails are marked well. Views are mediocre to be honest. But the challenge is worth it.

Great hike with some amazing views near and around Cobble Mtn. Started from the lower half and went counter so that I saved the views for the 2nd half of the hike. Perfect hike to do in the fall, the colors are beautiful and pictures cant do it justice. Easy trail to follow and i personally didnt find it extremely hard, did it on a late Saturday Morning after a few showers and had the whole trail to myself until the end where I passed a few people heading up Cobble Mtn in the early PM. By the time I was finishing the weather really cleared up, the sun was shining and the parking lot was starting to get packed, so I expect this hike gets busy when the weather is nice, luckily I dont mind hiking in the rain and the sun was out by the time I started the 2nd half of the hike, so I was able to enjoy Cobble Mtn for myself. This trail has a lot of boulder crossings which were very slippery after the rain and a few of the trails acted as streams, so I highly recommend you have waterproof boots with good traction. Great place to go after this hike is Kent Falls Brewery, its a working farm brewery and they have some great beer on tap made right there for a very reasonable price, plus the workers there are super friendly, youll thank me later!

Pretty straight forward, crowded however in summer with a lot of of bathers in the falls! Fun for kids.

amazing

Really this would probably be 3 1/2 stars for me. This hike was pretty without much elevation but like another reviewer noted it is rocky! Once you cross over the creek that whole section of the trail is super rocky. I couldn't really enjoy my surroundings, because if you looked up while walking you'd twist an ankle. Our golden retriever had a rougher time then usual too with paw placement. A 2 mile hike to the pond should have taken our family of 4 around 40 minutes or less - we hike a lot. It took us over an hour to get to pond since it was slow going with the rocky path.

Lots of dogs on Sunday.

The trail was very hard to navigate but the view was worth it once we found it. It was decently easy as far as endurance just a very steep walk to the oven and steep down from the view point.

Take a picture of the trail map before you head out. Around the group campgrounds, the orange blazes disappear for some reason.

Went with our family, age range from 6-35 and we had a great time. Took the orange trail, beautiful views well worth the hike!

Misty, foggy day, but beautiful stream-side hike. Foliage was great.

great little hike. light traffic and feel far from everything even though you actually aren’t too far!

It was a nice trek while camping in copake falls

Did the trail for the first time with my 3 year granddaughters, niece and husband. It was a little scary at times because of my granddaughters ages, but then I’m a city girl from the projects in NYC. Anyway, WE LOVED IT and we plan on making hiking our thing to do on Saturday’s.

Loved this challenging hike. Almost 8 miles. So glad I went counter clockwise because I got to go up the rock scramble instead of down. Mostly very well marked. A couple times had to refer to app map. Would definitely go again.

More “moderate” than “easy” but is well marked and has great payoff.

Rocks were tough

Difficult to follow after the peak going white to orange. Started down to the right after the viewpoint but was able to correct with the app. I met a couple who didn’t have the app and they didn’t make it to the horse cave. Great view at the top. Lots of downed beech trees along the trail.

Great short hike from New York side. Impressive Falls.

Well kept with all the traffic back and forth. Great scenery from the Green Mountain.

Easy walk with 9yr old daughter. Paved loop path. Plenty of shade.

Not to steep, perfect for us! Best hike I have been on in my life!
