HikingGreat!

We went with the kids (2 and 4 years old) during on a reasonably cool day. It was delightful. Bear in mind, there's no coverage whatsoever, so I would not recommend it on a really hot, sunny day. The skyline views of NYC were breathtaking. Everything was stroller friendly. We will definitely come back.

Great to ride with the family

Awesome views of the city, built out very nicely with bike and walking paths both ways for most of it. Regularly take this from Hoboken PATH Station to Weehawken Cove and back. Can get crowded quickly but always good energy.

Walking

Underrated gem if you want to get lovely views of the downtown and midtown Manhattan skyline - and worth walking for its own goodies: fun food trucks (and great restaurants if you need to stop and eat), historical sites (the Battle of Paulus Hook in Jersey City, the first game of modern rules baseball played in Hoboken - you can see the concrete slab “bases” and a plaque at an intersection on Washington Street and 11th Street if you’re willing to venture off the waterfront a few blocks, and of course the site of Hamilton’s famous duel with Aaron Burr in Weehawken in - what else? - Hamilton Park... there’s a small monument there but the views are worth the trip), and plenty of bus, PATH, light rail, ferry, and very reliable rideshare service if you want to bail out depending on where you want to end up. Very dog friendly so bring your pooch!

We actually walked this because of an accident, got on the wrong Ferry from NY and ended up taking this back up to Port Imperial. At 10pm. It was a beautiful night, warm and the city lights were beautiful. I'm from the country but I appreciated the fact that there were no bugs on our walk! Back in the Allegheny National Forest we would have been eaten alive by buggies. Great walk!!

did this while i was making https://nect.co/ oh. good old days!

Not really a trail urban walkway.... good for a bike ride

Mountain biking

Nearest trail in the area with the view of the city.. walk bike run

easy to take forgranted when you live in the area but on a spring day it has beautiful views and good food in the area

more walking than hiking

First to Review

My go-to running trail when I lived in the area. Super relaxing path next to the water, stunning views of NYC (especially in the evening/night), and well maintained path.
