Great trail! Fairly easy out and back hike.

Nice day use area!

Beautiful New Years day hike. We saw 3 deer, and the sunny winter light was lovely. Easy.

beautiful

It's an easy hike that follows the river. I don't think we ever found Moulton Falls but we continued and saw Lucia Falls. There are zero signs on the trail. I took the advice of previous people and took a picture of the map, though that didn't help us. I'll give it 3 stars for being easy, having pretty enough views of the river the whole time. However, it's crowded and the falls remain a mystery to me.

This was a kid friendly park that was easily laid out flow. We were able to see the whole park and lots of well mannered dogs. Winter weather has left the park pretty bare, lots of swage in the creek. Would come back in the spring to see it all filled out.

A great place for an easy hike. Just don't go in the summer if you don't like crowds.

Nice walk and a beautiful waterfall!

Extremely basic park with no outstanding features.

little muddy in places but nice....creek views were nice

Unique trail! We were camped at Thompson Reservoir and decided to explore this trail. It was a very hot day, however, it’s much cooler once you get down into the trail, it felt very nice. We climbed a lot of boulders to get further on the trail. You can turn back at anytime if you’re not wanting to climb over rocks. We had our 7 lb dog with us so we carried her much of the way. We loved this trail!

I'll be back for the trip out to the end of the boardwalk..Frozen boards made it to hazardous for this trip. Beautiful area

Nothing that great but for being in West Linn it's a nice area for toddlers & the retirement.
No views, bridges were damaged & some trails were closed off for repairs.
I did enjoy that the nature center offered patches & stickers of the other State Parks.
Haven't seen that in any other ones.
Definitely just one to mark off the list of just being there once before, doubtful I'll be returning.

Gorgeous river and waterfalls!

good day for a walk on the boardwalk, no rain just cloudy that perfect temperature for this walk today .. there were a lot of bald eagles out, a variety of ducks, heron. the parking lot appeared full but we found parking and the boardwalk was not crowded at all .. Despite the government shutdown all the trails are open however the education / gift shop is not open.

Came here for a quick hike while staying in Portland. Clean and trails were very well taken care of. Pretty good elevation for what it is! Fun

Fun hike with the dog. The waterfall area has been fenced off and blocked by the persons who own the land above the trail. Marked private property.

Beautiful hike to a very close up view of the falls. No snow either!

Easy and beautiful hike! Simple access. visitors from Australia loved it!

Trail is currently closed!!! Tried to take the pup here today but it’s all gated off!

Needed to stretch our legs and the afternoon hike fit the bill. Great views out and back.

nice scenery and safe to walk.

An absolutely gorgeous beach with lots of driftwood, rock features and a pebble beach that grades into sand towards the water. Easy access and definitely worth the trip. I visited on December 24th and it was chilly and fairly busy around sunset but what a gorgeous sunset.

Short hike but more than worth it! Beautiful waterfall! My girlfriend and I went during winter and it was a little chilly but the walk was short and getting soaked by the falls was worth it! The hike in was beautiful!

Have hiked this trail several times with our kids starting at age 3.

Super easy out and back. Went on a crisp January day, damp and overcast with about a dozen people on the mostly paved trail with me.

It was a gorgeous winter day with absolutely no wind & the Columbia mirrored the beautiful blue skies! Our faces were very chilly with the sun on our backs, but we got toasty when we faced the sun. This sweet little trail meanders all along the top of the plateau & offers several icy little ponds. The views were outrageous! I’d love to return in the spring to see the wildflowers in bloom.
