I loved exploring the cave. There was a really beautiful view at the bottom close to the water.

It is amazing what nature does. I was truly suprised when I saw this natural phenomenon!

Great trail for experienced hikers and beginners! Beautiful overlooks and some good bouldering spots

This hike was a beast for me! Partially due to the fact that my brother lied and said it was rated moderate to get me to join in, lol. It’s a workout both ways but the hollow is breathtaking. When we went the waterfall was pretty light but still beautiful. This was my entryway to the world of hiking and I will always remember it fondly ❤️

Beautiful and hard...and worth it, for sure!!! Wear solid shoes, have your first-aid kit, and enjoy the views. Breathtaking!

Beautiful site to see. We would love to see it again.

Love this Trail. Fall foliage was great.

Nice hike with many feature points. The caves were as beautiful as the waterfalls.

Beautiful easy 2 mile loop. Views were stunning this fall!

One my favorite trails to do in the fall.

Beautiful hike ! We had two 11 year olds and I was worried bc of the drop offs but it was an awesome hike !

Great little hike! Took my time heading down, went down to the falls and then doubled back over to the river. Didn’t time the trek as a whole, started off a little before 1pm and took my time at the river, the 2.3mi hike back up took 50 minutes for me at a steady pace.

Excellent, particularly as the leaves are starting to change.

Very unique place!!

This Trail has a Jungle feel to it, which i thought was the best part. Easy Hike.

Prepare for an uphill hike similar to mountain climbing and lots of stream crossings. Beautiful hike. Rightfully rated hard!

Visited in the fall after a rain and thought the falls would be flowing a little bit better. But it was still a nice hike and cool sight to see.

Yes it is a climb up but it isn’t as hard as a lot of people have said. Bring water and some snacks. There are a few places to stop on the way to take a break if needed. The waterfall was only a trickle but that meant we didn’t get wet crossing the streams. Truly a sight to see!

Good hike. I agree that the signs and trails are unclear. Our trip was in fog so we didn’t experience the vistas much.

On the loop trail between the beginning and the plane crash site is a diversion off the trail to a couple of small cave up above. Nice unexpected addition.

Even after the rains, the water was just trickling but it is still worth the hike to see.

We liked this trail. Use bug spray and take hiking sticks. At the trail loop we went left, at top trails we went right and then took the west trail around to the north trail bluff. North trail bluff has a great vista. The west trail had good vistas but both would be amazing as leaves turn.

We liked this trail better than Lost Valley trail.

Make sure to do the entire loop! There are some cool caves along the trail. The natural bridge was very cool to see. Was not crowded at all on a Sat or Sun. we went back after we discovered we didn't finish the loop. Took me and husband 40 mins to do entire loop.

Great trail with an amazing ending! The cathedral is beautiful and the echos are awesome! The waterfall was only trickling very little but that made standing under it that much more fun to cool off. The hike down was pretty easy even though we broke a sweat. However the hike up made it the hardest hike I have ever encountered! It’s one of those that you give your hiking buddy a high five when you reach the top! It was really neat to see, but it’s safe to say I’ll probably only do it this one time.

A little confusing on which trail to get to the view point. We got the map at the beginning and tried to use it but it didn’t come in handy at all. We ended up just winging it for our first time. We went left and looped around to under the bluff line then went up the stairs, followed the west trail then went north to the view point. The view was great! Who makes those maps anyhow??

Awesome views wish it wasn’t raining, but worth the trip

Enjoyed this trail. Wish it hadn’t been foggy. The views would have been beautiful otherwise. Be sure to bring 3 dollars with you to use the trail.

Bug spray is absolutely necessary, but a great hike

Very nice, very tall falls. We got off our kayaks to hike up it. The hike there has a ton of scenery, you’ll cross several creeks to get there. Make sure it has rained prior if you want to see the falls in full effect. Well worth the trip.

I’ve been hiking Arkansas for a long time and this is one of the best summit views in the state. So glad I decided to try this trail on the way from Oklahoma City to Little Rock. I have always hiked the ouachita mountains because they’re closer to Dfw, but I finally got my ozark mountain hike in and it didn’t disappoint. Pinnacle Mountain is the only hiking spot in Arkansas where I’ve seen a comparable degree window of views, much quieter here. The enchanted forest tag from earlier reviews is spot on. Drive up- the main road off of ST 215 was closed so I had to take a little longer route. I was in an suv with 4 wheel drive and it only took 30 minutes on the gravel portion, and that is the long way. The main road in is being refurbished, it looks like it’ll be really nice when open. I had no problems on the roads, as far as gravel roads go, these were pretty good, maybe not in the rain...just FYI if you’re driving a car, a corolla was coming in as I was leaving so cars can make it, be careful because there are some rock bulges every now and then, not bad overall and well worth it for this gem.

The trail map at the trailhead was a little confusing - it says it’s only 0.8 mi to the top, but doesn’t really indicate the direction to go to get there. I think to get to the views fastest, you need to go left when you get to the “loop trail” and then when you see the sign for “top trails” head up to the right. From the loop trail the views were a little obstructed this time of year (early fall) with all the trees still in full foliage.
