short, but steep hike for conditioning purpose. did it non-stop and took about 50 mins at my pace with a group of friends going up.
the view is good, both from cherico point and poo poo point which is further up.

parking lot is free. took 25 mins from bellevue. great location and great trail.

Super pretty trail! Harder than I thought it would be but it was a great hike

Good hike.
A LOT of people thought so.

Good exercise, parking was full at 9am but overflow for $5 was nearby and empty at that time. Dog friendly on leashes.

You can never go wrong with a stroll along the beach. Loved this.

One of my favorites for shorter hikes.

It is an easy hiking trail. You can run.

It’s all worth it at the top, we were lucky to see many paraglider last weekend.

Great trail right in the middle of town! The trail is marked with signs, so very hard to get lost! Part of the trail is closed due to construction but I loved it! Lots of old growth gives you plenty of shade but remember your bug spray!

It was so peaceful and there were also some great pictures that could be taken

Nice trail in the middle of town! This trail was more challenging than I expected, which is a good thing! I thought it would be too easy. It is a nicely shaded trail, a little bumpy and narrow in some spots, but overall pretty clear. I was using the app for directions as I walked, but I still went off the trail twice. There are some pretty steep spots, so be careful. There's also a little 6 foot bridge. I will definitely be walking this trail more often!

A first for me today.... no not the trail running....
But the BLACK BEAR I ran into near the top!
Let’s just say my run time down was a personal best!

Nice trail. Wish it was better marked. Huge hill on an off shoot trail towards the end that the kids had fun racing up!

1st hike of the year. Steep but fun. beautiful views if Issaquah and Mt. Rainier

Pretty little trail. Good for a nice jog. Enough scenery to keep me engaged.

Nothing too exciting. If you like mazes this trail would be a great choice!

Awesome hike! Good steady incline all the way up with a terrific view. Careful on the way down as it can get slippery.

Such a great hike. Bring hiking poles as it can be slippery in places. we started pretty early and the ground was a bit damp. By time we came back down- there was no parking and super crowded. If you want to watch the paragliders but are not able to hike too far- there is a shuttle to take you to the top and back down. had a great time. We even hiked with our bulldog.

Great trail, very busy. Big incline at the beginning of the trail but gets easy near the top. It’s a rocky trail. There’s $5 over flow parking which was nice.

Great early morning hike before all the zoo-goers take up parking. You get to see beautiful mossy trees and the sound. You can also stop by the park gardens and check out the flowers. Easy hike and would be great to take kids to.

This is a pleasant paved walk through a shaded riparian ecosystem that is two miles each way in distance. The grade is minimal, thus the trail can accommodate walkers, runners, cyclists, and those with strollers. We walked from the SeaTac entrance to Puget Sound where we were met by ducks, Canada geese, and gulls. There are distance markers each quarter mile. The only downside is constant jet noise and a sewage treatment plant about halfway along the trail.

Wonderful views, excellent trail conditions and stunning parasailing at the top...but I’m not posting any pictures of those things. My wife and I along with our Golden Retriever did this hike last Sunday on 7/15; Seattle set a record high temperature of 93 degrees that day. While we had planned well for water that day, we were out by the end of the hike (our dog was well rested and well watered during the day) and all 3 of us were looking for shade and more water...none of which are present at the parking lot. We were overjoyed to find water and shade provided in the parking lot. Truly picture worthy-THANK YOU ACROPARAGLIDING!

When did it close? This is still a great place for a short beach hike and not too bad for city goers. As for the homeless people, they are everywhere in Tacoma, so if you have issues-probably not a good pick. This hike is better than Point Defiance when it's open in my opinion.

Decent exit from the city, but not well marked for what it is. In some parts, you can hear the cars so it makes it hard to actually experience the exit of city Life. Great for a day away in the city when you can't go far.

U don't have to drive to the mountains to experience Great Northwest Woods, with panoramic views of the Puget Sound and the Narrows Bridge(s) We saw Bambi, about 20 seals on the point, but don't get too close to the edge! unfortunately no Sasquatch sighting. great family hike for all where you can take your dog, and at least for us within easy reach of home, a great starter hike...

This is a very nice trail, except it's easy to get lost. I would not consider it easy with all of the steep hills. I did love it, except not knowing what direction to go.

great hike with my parents, husband and stepson!

Nice walking trail down to the water

Great little hike right near the city! very popular trail. A farm nearby smartly offers overflow parking for $5. Expect crowds and all that come along with them, show up early or just accept it and enjoy anyway. Bathroom was open at the top.

Holy cow, I’m not in shape what so ever, so this was a pretty tiring hike. But let me tell you, once you got to the top it was well worth it. I spent about an hour just watching the paragliders at the top. For a sunny Sunday like today, there wasn’t an overwhelming amount of people on the trail. Parking took a minute. I made two circles and found someone leaving which was convenient!
