This is a great hike and fairly easy. I love the rhododendron tunnels, and, of course the high point is reaching Diamond Point where you can see much of the "endless wall" as well as the bridge. The views of the river are really good. Be sure to take the numerous spurs out to the edge of the mountain. The river is not visible from the main trail.
We didn't finish the trail today it was windy and about to rain.
the views are fantastic at the end. dog friendly. decent anount of parking at trail head along with restrooms. well maintained wide trail. easy the first half, moderate the second.
Just as advertised.
Great trail, beautiful sights! My wife and I walked it yesterday with our two dogs - plenty of spots to pull over and share the road! I am very overweight and on a journey to get more healthy! I have always loved the outdoors and this trail was a challenge for me but I loved every second of it!
Lots of roots and some rocks. Overall good trail. If you walk the road back turn left to get back to your vehicle
This trail is great. Park at bottom lot and go in that way. Check out all the ladders Take a bag along to pick up trash for earth day month. Just loved this one.
Beautiful short trail near the New River
Fun trail, well maintained. Lots of great pull offs with views for days
Really nice, moderate trail. Beautiful viewpoint
Excellent! Climbers extension was great.
I thought I logged this already
Excellent!
Great trail and views
This trail is awesome. The views are amazing.
There and back!
Fun trail in the rain.
Good trail went from long point to kaymore top and then around on the hard top. I should have done the trail back instead of the hard top.
It was an average trail but the beat view I have ever seen. You could see the water falls all around. It was cool cause we had been below the bridge the day before and did the endless wall trail early in the day. It was cool to see where we had been.
The trail itself I would rate a 3 1/2 - 4. Nothing not worthy for the most part, very easy trail, I’d say about 75% of it literally anyone could do. The last 25 is a little harder just because it’s up and down and over big rocks and branches, but still pretty easy. However, the view absolutely makes this a 5 star. Just stunning, photos don’t do it justice. I would love to watch the sunrise up there, I imagine it must be heavenly. Definitely worth it!
Good hike, lots of roots at times. Distance about 3.3 miles.
One of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen so pretty great trail nice and cool on a hot day
LOVED it! Even without the stellar views it’s a gorgeous hike, the forest is just so beautiful and the scenery changes several times so it’s definitely not boring. The trails are very well maintained, with sturdy bridges and steps where needed. There are spots all over, along the cliff side or in the forest where you can put up a hammock and relax for a while. Overall an easy trail, some hills here and there but pretty suitable for all ages. And then there are gorgeous cliff side views looking down over the mountains and the rivers below, you might get to see people rock climbing too. 100% recommend and definitely hiking it again.
Great hike. Can get muddy but very passable. Lots of overlooks to see the river. Worth looping on the road rather than doing the out-and-back.
A small hike but definitely worth the views! It is a little longer than the app says. I say it’s about 3.1 round trip.
Stunning views that just seem to get better at each overlook.
Very muddy due to this week’s rain
beautiful trail with lots of great overlooks. a little muddy but to be expected. made it a loop with a short hike beside the road back to the car.
The trail was great but we got stuck in a huge rainstorm and the view was foggy and unable to be seen. Would definitely do it again on a date isn’t raining
Started the recording late. Thought we would make the hike without getting caught in the rain. Just when we got out to the point the sky let open and it started pouring! Luckily we got a few pictures with the bridge and within a minute it all fogged over. Super fun hike other than being completely soaked by the time we got to the car. Muddy on the way there and even more muddy on the way back. Due to all the rain the past 25 HRS. Can’t wait to hike this trail again on a sunny day!
