OMG! This hike is wonderful.. Pretty easy. Guaranteed beauty. Make sure you make it to Diamond Point.

Loved it!! Watch footing lots of big rocks among the leaves.

Great trail along a beautiful stream

Did as a day hike for bridge day weekend .. Great views for stream the whole way .. want to do a overnight hiking n fishing trip now

this was an easy trail. nice view of the bridge from the rock you can stand on. great hike

The view was great from this trail. Not hard at all only a few uphills at the end. For good light if taking photos, recommend earlier morning, before noon. I was there between 5pm and 7pm and could get very good light for photos. We at lunch at the Cathedral Cafe and it was really good. Even from the Visitor center over looks, photos are best before noon. "Take a Hike to see at Site". I love hiking to see a wonderful view. ENJOY

This trail is worth some of the mud and trekking through the rhododendrons. the outlooks are amazing, all of them. I went on a cool 46 degree overcast Saturday and it was still worth it. definitely go check this one out for the awesome views.

Nice trail with a very rewarding view at the end. We had alot of traffic but I imagine it's because bridge day is coming up. Gets a little rocky at one point so watch your step.

Nice trail, I logged 11.6 roundtrip miles starting from the trailhead near I-64 and hiking all the way to the waters edge of the New River, this mileage included the spur trail to Kate's Falls. There were a few trees down but not hard to get around or over. The trail was also a little muddy and slippery but nothing extreme! Met a few other hikers on the trail and enjoyed stopping and chatting with them for a few minutes. The rating for this trail is no where near hard. The trail is fairly level with a slight grade with a few places where you climb up and over rock outcroppings, but again, nothing extreme. The rating on this trail needs to be changed to moderate but it would be a very low moderate, I will see what I can do to edit the rating. Happy trails fellow hikers!

A very nice view of the bridge and gorge! Logged 3.4 mile roundtrip from the Kaymoor Top parking lot. Trail was muddy in a few spots and the creek crossing was easy to cross. Note: the main parking lot for this trail is temporarily closed while they do improvements!

Loved the 80 step staircase! Would love to see it in the winter with no leaves blocking the view. I logged 3.4 miles roundtrip hike that including adventuring around the Tipple and also down to the Coke Ovens. The trail was wet and muddy but not hazardous. All of the mine structures were very nice to see and learn about. To me, climbing the stairs back to the slate track level - powder house was easier than the rest of the climb on the trail to the parking lot.

This trail is well traveled. They have been working on this trail and Improvements are in the final completion stage. It has a great view of the New River Gorge and Bridge at the end on a big rock outcropping.

Amazing workout! Feel the burn! I’m glad it was raining cause I was pouring sweat, couldnt tell what was rain and what wasn’t! Oh watch out for the chickens when you drive in!

Wow. This is a beautiful trail. Did the full out and back and it was a treat. Following the Glade Creek the full way provide ample opportunity to go swimming or to sit back and listen to the water. What a great hike!

Awesome except for the last 1/4 mile on the road.

It was beautiful! We started at Prince and completed at Thumund. First 7 miles narrow, rocks, some maneuvering around fallen trees and slides. Last 5 miles or so was a gravel road leading down to river. Bridges were sturdy and views breathtaking! Would go again- definitely need 4x4 .

Absolutely stunning. I almost feel like botanical artists come in and plant picturesque foliage around, it just looks so surreal. I can’t even imagine how it might look once autumn has fully taken over. There was a high volume of traffic though.

Stunning views. Hiked on a v hot day, but almost all of walk is under canopy, with many short but optional access spurs to rock cliffs that overlook the Gorge. Can be hiked as an out and back, or a loop if you use a short hitch on the road. A great easy hike. Finished the day with a wonderful meal at nearby Adventures on the Gorge.

My favorite hike!!! I moved away 10 years ago but when I visit home I always try to make this hike. The views are gorgeous.

there are a lot of sections on this trail. we did the miners section which had about 830 steps and around a mile long hike to get to these steps. going down one can see the remains of the mines and the mining town.
was very interesting and a good workout.

it has a very great view at the end. The trail is well shaded.

It's an ok trail with some good views of the river. one can enjoy a picnic, but going up the hill is no joy. the trail ends at one point, but we tried to go further to check the cliff which one person had posted, but we gave up after about 20 min of walk. there is hardly any visible trail and thick vegetation makes it hard.

Beautiful trail. One of my favorites in the New River.

Mountain biked the Clovis & Adena Trails. They were well maintained & marked. Although rated easy, it was a challenging 4+ mile single track trail.

Amazing view!!! Fairly easy hike, to find the permanent ladders to the rock wall you have to be on the Nuttall side of the trail.

The only problem I have with this trail is you have to walk the road for a little bit

Very well maintained and beautiful trail. I am a beginner level hiker and this trail was perfect for me. It had been raining the day before so there were some slick rocks and muddy spots but even then it wasn’t very tough at all. Still definitely felt like I got some good exercise without struggling to much. Overlooks were breathtaking. Parking at Fern Creek meant the partial road walk back to the car was downhill.

Beautiful hike. I highly recommend going down the metal ladders to the rock climbing access area. You can hike along the bottom of the endless wall and meet/watch climbers. Lots of great views from the cliffs when you climb back to the top. This is a fun/adventurous trail for all skill levels.
