good hike and good views. foliage was past its peak, but not the trail's fault!

well blazed and we'll kept

Fabulous views as you go up, and it's definitely worth it to scramble up to the top. The trail had heavy traffic though, making it not as peaceful as I would have liked. With snow on the trail, the traffic really packed it in, making it fairly slick.

Steady climb. The views half-way up exceeded the actual lake view, but it was a nice hike with some icy stairs.

This is our go to hike for visitors. It is easy enough for children and the views are exquisite.

Really unique rock formations. Coyote song is an easy trail, some inclines but nothing crazy. If you take the Lyons Back trail towards columbine trail it gets pretty steep. You can also go off path a lil and climb up to the ridge. Views were awesome, would not recommend the ridge climb to kids or anyone unsure of physical ability. Def go again, quick drive from Denver.

Microspikes are pretty much necessary as of 10/13/18. Fun trail and beautiful lake!

easy terrain but very unclear trail around the halfway point, I could not find the correct path and ended up backtracking

Arrived around 9:30am Saturday morning and parking wasn't more than 5 cars although once we got back to the car around 11:30 there was a line of cars and more people. There was snow most of the trail and icy towards the last portion of the trail, but was an awesome hike and fantastic views!

Great trail - nicely marked. Had dog bowls intermittently for our puppy. Big boulders for the kids to play on. Great views of the front range, Pikes Peak and eastern towns.

Idled on road for 20 minutes waiting to get into parking lot. VERY crowded today. Five stars is for restroom facilities, trailhead area, and railing on trail. Unfortunately the trail itself was so slick with ice that we didn't make it to the lake. One member of our party slipped and fell almost immediately on the trail, so we turned around and went back to our car. Trekking poles and/or Yaktrax (microspikes, not chain) would help immeasurably on this trail under the current conditions. It might not be so bad at noontime when the top layer is softened up a bit. Our attempt was at 5 p.m. and the trail was iced over.

Our daily hike, I feel so fortunate to live here.

awesome views

great views

Beautiful trails. One of my favorite place in Littleton.

We started the loop at panorama point and went clockwise. We skipped going to the campground and Endomondo clocked us at 2.60 miles. Once you come around the loop it gets fairly steep out if no where, so we may try going counterclockwise next time to have a more gradual incline. The trail is marked really well and maintained. The aspen are really starting to look great right now so come while you can.

Took puppy after first snow of season. He loved it and it was good trail for a young dog. Easy but lovely.

Enjoyable shortish day hike. Lake is SMALL. Views back over Estes Park and of RMNP and great!

Awesome short hike with an amazing view! The view at the top is worth it. As of 10/12/18 there is a couple inches of snow and the top by the ridge is SO windy so be prepared.
Limited parking, we were the second car there at 9am and when we were back at 11am the whole side of the road was packed.

Wandering through the ghost town and up to the summit was wonderful.

Super packed, but the lake is incredible.

We hiked Saint Mary’s Glacier a few weeks ago. It’s a short, rocky climb, but the reward is breathtaking. The alpine lake, glacier and surrounding foliage is beautiful! We’re definitely making a return trip!

This trail can get crowded on weekends, but if you're able to get up here on a weekday it's easily a 5/5 hike.

Mid October. Colors changing. Very pretty. Had our boys in carry packs. Some fun terrain and rocky on the backside of the loop. Perfect first hike of the trip.

It’s a great hike for families. With a moderate gain and only 1.5 miles long you get some great views.

Loved this trail! Get a little of everything, hike through the forest followed by hike up the mountain. Beautiful sceneries! Also, be prepared to feel like you are off the trail but I realized there are multiple paths up the mountain and multiple paths down, as long as you know the general direction you will make it

This is a fantastic hike with a ton of water along the way. Beautiful waterfalls and a great lake at the top. My ten-year-old, seven-year-old, and dog are able to do this pretty well, but we live at 6000 feet. This is not the easiest hike with a lot of rocks and some steep climbs, but it is very worth it. We went on a Thursday and arrived at about 8 and parking was easy. By the time we got down about three and a half hours later the parking was a nightmare.

Five stars for the hike. It's a beautiful lake with many aspens, and pretty short, so most anyone can walk around the entire thing and get the experience of a natural lake in an alpine setting.

However, negative four stars for the drive getting there. The last two miles is a dirt road with lots of ruts and small potholes. I saw large SUV's and trucks just cruising along, but anyone in a sedan and a fear of blowing a tire should be wary. Also, the road is so narrow at points that I was surprised that two cars could pass, esp. since the drop-off was very steep with no guardrail.

Most beautiful hike I've even been on. The reward at the top is unbelieveable. I've never seen anything like it. The wildflowers were blooming like crazy when we went in the end of August. It was very difficult for us being from Nebraska due to the elevation but I would do it again!

Pretty easy and amazing views, even on an overcast day at lower elevations. Would recommend to visitors to the area because of the huge reward for little effort.
