the trails weren't the most exciting or the best marked, but it was a fun place to explore and get about 3 miles in.

Nice trail, good views of the lake this time of year. Mainly a mountain bike trail. Some muddy areas today. Poorly marked. My Garmin clocked 3.2 miles.

Was a great place to take my dog to walk/jog on weekdays. Not crowded at all. Seen maybe two other people!

Nothing is more empowering than knowing you can up and leave society at any time and not only survive....but thrive!!!!

A nice easy paved trail, but it can be very heavily trafficked at times with lots of people to avoid if you’re running. It’s open to bikes as well, though I rarely see them.

Not bad for a trail inside the city. There was some traffic noise in the distance during the entire hike, but once you get away from the train trestle, you no longer see any man made structures or roads. Be mindful of the trail conditions. I found people hiking and mountain biking when I arrived, and the gate to the trail was open, but a park ranger left a note on my vehicle stating that I was subject to arrest for being in the park because the city had closed the backcountry trails due to trail conditions.

The paved part of the trail is nice. But when you get to the part where it goes down to the river it is not marked. We had to spend a bit looking for where it enters the wooded area. The trail also does not follow the trail as marked here on All Trails. It is an estimate of the trail.

Not bad...

The area where the trails were is lovely. Lots of ivy along the paths. The trail the boys scouts had created was very nice , clearly marked, wide with stumps painted to avoid falling.
But... I got confused back in the other trails and they weren’t clearly marked at all coming to intersections with no clue which way to go. Then after traveling along a trail for some time I suddenly came upon a trail closed sign with no previous warning. There was a high bridge with guardrails missing which was dangerous and I felt a few soft spots in some of the other bridges. I found this unfortunate since it is a pretty area for hiking. I will return to see if things have changed but won’t go back if no updates have happened.

After a few mis-starts, found the trail. Good hike, decent amount of time in the woods. Wear decent shoes - trail is full of roots.

Very easy trail, also pretty boring. Most of the trail is a gravel road. The small part of the trail in the woods provided breathtaking views, but it was a very short time spent in the woods. I’d skip this one.

My dog and I really enjoyed this trail. If I lived closer, I’d be here frequently. I loved the way it goes down by the creek for quite a large part of the trail. I think there was a side trail you could cut across the top and not down by the creek but not sure. I just wish it was longer!

Neat and clean, well maintained.

Short little walk through a meadow and forest, we like this as a warmup to the Little Turtle trail nearby

Beautiful and scenic hike, views on burial mounds and the river.

Nice trail, well maintained and marked. Mix of gravel road into some forest area along a creek. Lots of wildlife viewing opportunity, specially birds.

This is one beautiful trail that is right next to the beach. it is tight in some spots but I guess cozy would be a better word lol. Around July this trail has a large amount of chanterelles and is my go to for this delicious mushroom! the trail is easy to follow and the loop is just enough for a quick hike. sometimes the beach is closed and I feel uncomfortable parking in front of the gate, if better parking were available I would be happy but still 5 stars for the trail itself.

good little trail for a family hike or a quick run. its a short trail so we ran it twice. the trail offers a very nice wooded scene and the potential to see wildlife. would recommend this trail. the trail level i feel should be rated as easy. if you are in even ok shape it may leave you wanting more. not a difficult trail but still very nice and enjoyable

Beautiful trail to hike or jog- I’d rate this more easy to moderate, in comparison to other trails- would be easy with kids, where as California nature park is rated as moderate and is much more difficult

Dense forest with trails mostly catering to mountain bikers. Actually makes for a nice place to hike since anyone passing by bike will be out of sight quickly. Devou-tion is quite steep and I saw no one on this seciton as opposed to being passed probably 5 times on the other sections.

Paved route, nice view of the lake pretty much all the way around. I used to walk this route with my mom when I was a kid. Still a nice place to bring kids and can rent paddle boats if you feel like getting in the water.

This is my go to trail as it is 200 yards from my home. Great colors in fall and well maintained for leaves on the asphalt path.

great trails but needs better markers. the train trussel is fenced off.

I think we got off trail because it was not well marked, but it was still nice. Trails are dirt trails so if has rained recently trails are pretty muddy. Dog friendly.

Bunch of small short trails, pretty easy to just keep walking through one to another. Good wild flowers, and a pretty creek.

The somewhat rugged trails make for a nice weekend hike.

Nice wide trail, in good shape. Mostly gravel, some spots dirt and some spots grass. Part of trail closed due to a bridge being fixed

Started out on this trail and somehow ended up on the Buckeye & Perimeter trails. The trail marking at East Fork could use some upgrading. Other than that, was a great relatively easy hike.
