Nice walk to about mile 3; fallen tree blocks access for horses. Someone needs to bring a chain saw

Nice. Hetch betchy hike.

Great trail, saw lots of deers, squirrels and kids learned about surrounding plants. Nice little hike! Plus it was a treat taking out some kayaks after the walk.

Very calm and tranquil hike. Feels like a peaceful place throughout. Only disappointment was the semperviren falls. I wouldn't call it a waterfall. It is just a small drip of water falling off a rock. The entire height of the fall is about 5 or 6 meters only

Easy fun scenic walk

It was great missed a turn and ended up walking 4.5 miles.

Trail is well maintained and safe. No inclines and can be walked leisurely. No issues with sharing. Plenty of residential parking available on La Riviera.

Pretty awesome trail, I would rate this trail moderate just because it’s kinda rocky ... make sure you have boots with ankle support because trail shoes won’t cut it!! The falls were dry but that’s ok because it’s beautiful either way no need to find beauty in the expectation of one thing :) awesome all around with great views!!

Part of this trail is paved and once you get to where you see the American River it turns into a dirt/rock and rough trail at times. It also isn't market too well at all in spots. So make sure to check your phone/gps if you want to stay on the trail.

An interesting part of Yosemite NP that I never knew existed before a friend mentioned it to us. It's not as spectacular as the Yosemite valley but what it lacks in that department, it makes up in being much quieter and just unassumingly pretty. Definitely a good place to visit to get some rest from the crowds in the valley.
The hike itself is short but can get tiring if it is hot - it certainly was mid-June when we visited. I guess the moderate rating is quite appropriate. The waterfalls are pretty and the views of the lake are simply beautiful.

I don’t know why people were saying this trail isn’t easy. I don’t hike all that often, and while it was lengthy for time spent on your feet, it certainly isn’t strenuous. I went the direction of Sunset to Cinderella (counterclockwise). This way had a lot of downhill toward the end which was slippery and no fun if you have bad knees. I recommend maybe going the other direction (clockwise). You may get a little more uphill workout but then it will chill out. A small window of views of the bay, but that’s it. Otherwise just a pretty trail. 85% shade. Went at 1:30pm on a Monday. Few families with dogs and a few bikers, nothing crazy. Enjoyed it overall!

Whew. What a nice hike. Took the longer route and hiked thu the ranch. For a first timer at Rancho Seco I was pleased to see the path marked with Orange painted rocks.

Enjoyed this trail and I added in a bit of Lakeview and East Shore to make this a 6 mile hike with about 900 elevation. Some single track but mostly wide. I got turned around a bit connecting to East Ridge from Lake View and had to do some backtracking as the trails weren’t as well marked but I’d definitely do it again!

Tried this with our dog. Not too difficult..

However we ended up getting a little lost (not very mapped out trails) a couple of times, if you keep going up the east shore trail it gets a little steep in terms of cliffs (not too difficult to hike, but was a little worried with our dog).

A great little trail for canyon views. The trail narrows in some places. Picnic tables at the trail head + restrooms. Limited parking. About 1 -1.5 hour depending on your speed and viewing activity.

Giant Sequoia Trees

Easy walk but great access to unbelievably beautiful and majestic trees.

Really cute trail, narrow in places since you're walled in by forest either side. Shaded and pretty. Excellent for families - our kids loved reading every sign! Quite a bit of poison oak on the lower trail, with some extending over into the path so be aware if you're as allergic as I am!

My first hike in this area. Redwoods were beautiful to view. Was disappointed we missed the falls as the signage wasn’t clear. The last half mile or so is on the road. All in all a decent shady walk.

We loved the information plaques. One unidentifiable junction, but otherwise well sign posted and maintained. Family of five, blown away by the bay leaf forest. Great trail for kids.

Great place for horseback riding. Fire roads, and cattle trails alongside, nice easy to moderate hills for conditioning, little traffic, no dogs, no bikes, roomy parking lot, and some of the cleanest porta-potties you’ve ever seen.

It said easy so I wore normal shoes and slipped several times on steep rocky downhill areas. It’s also super dusty because of all the mountain bikes, so instead of looking at green foliage it’s all brown.

I'm rating this trail 1 star because it is definitely not an easy trail. If you're a novice you won't like this trail. Definitely a beautiful hike but this trail has 100s of mountain bikers on it. I had to move around 50 times out of the way of mountain bikers. There were areas on the trail only 2 feet wide where you have to make room for mountain bikes moving at 25 mph. This trail is not KID FRIENDLY like suggested above. Steep hills with unsafe conditions. I went with my sister and towards the end of the trail we saw a family approaching the trail and urged then to turn around. We warned them that it wasn't safe for kids. Out of control mountain bikers make this trail uncomfortable and nerve recking during tight quarters. It's a beautiful trail that should be dedicated to either hiking or mountain biking, not both. I'm not a rookie hiker. I've been on over 100 hikes from this all trails app

Beautiful trail. Allows opportunity to walk over streams on large fallen trees. A workout but accessible for a wider variety of hiking and fitness levels.

We liked the hike, pretty and quite easy. A lot of trees! It was quiet despite the presence of people and the proximity of the road for half the trail. We missed the waterfalls, so if you want to see them, keep a eye on them on the map, because we didn't see any sign.

The wash out or collapsed trail as described is easy to ride around and the hikers have established a trail that every body is using.
