nice walk but no escape of sun. there is no shade in the path.

Those never ending steps at the Hornsby end were a absolute killer best to do it from Hornsby to Thornleigh instead

three main highlights: Fishponds, Elouera Lookout, The Jungo :)

Nice place to run, walk, ride anything really. unfortunately the constant presence of cars ruins the experience.

Great walk with the dog, just check they are not baiting pests before going.

Great challenging run, with some nice climbs here and there, but nothing crazy hard. The part next to the river gives some nice views. I lost the track a few times, so it might be good to bring your phone, but you can never get lost too far in this track. Can recommend for running!

One of the longer loop walks in Sydney with beautiful forest views and sandstone formations. Some steeper parts and 10.5 km long.

Perfect for a level 1hr walk or a work out with Harbour views all the way.

Great trail. Diversity with hilltop, river bank and bush views with a couple rainforest parts tucked in. It took us a pretty solid day to do the 24ish km. We pretty much followed this hike exactly and diverged from the Great North path to get to the train station. That section is a bit less travelled and I suspect we didn't find the best way.
Otherwise a couple notes : the first half has some water bubblers, cafes etc. the second half was all bush with no amenities. Right towards the end you walk a sewage pipe, it's underground but with air vents along the way which was a bit less pleasant. The Whitefire Grill was a good (but fancier than expected) lunch stop. Good call as it was the last food we saw.

great walk considering you are still in a built up area you can hear distant traffic most of the way thru

Great track, scenic and very relaxing. Loose rocks, so wear proper shoes. Minimal signs, be prepared to get lost, part of the adventure.

Walked a few k’s along this track in early August 2018 - within a few hundred meters from leaving lane cove river park at lady game drive you could be anywhere yet so close to sydney - it’s a great walk - although the wattle have been fooled into flowering early this year with all the dry warm weather .

It was an amazing mini hike with beautiful weather and it was so peaceful. Good for all ages of people within the Paramatta suburb vicinity.

Beautiful all the way along and some challenging segments to make it a great experience!

Loved this walk. It is a surprisingly decent bush walk in the middle of suburbia.

Great walk for children. The lake circuit is rocky with few steps so wear appropriate shoes.

Was an easy one!! You can pretty much finish all the 3 trails in one go.
Nice spots to chillax and enjoy with friends and family.

More like 13k but very lovely.
Take shoes with good grip.
