I am newly relocated to this area. I have loved to find great places for a walk through nature and this was certainly the first jewel. This place provides you with a sense of inspiration and just allows your mind to run free. I can't wait to visit again!

Short, easy and beautiful walk to the falls.

We took the gorge trail out and back, if you haven’t seen this trail definitely do it. There is a good set of stairs to climb and my knee was hurting but it was worth it. The fall was gorgeous and the bridge crossings were nice. You also should see the cowshed falls as well, it’s on the way.

It was a great trail, well maintained. More styled to bring your kids along.

Great for everyone who wants to be outside

I never get tired of going there. The water is such a beautiful color, and so clear. The trail is very flat and easy to do. There's a great picnic area and beach too.

Well maintained trail. A little steep in spots if you have a young/older hiker. A quick walk with more than one great view of these impressive falls. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful sites but I found the trail to short of a walk. Easy trail to follow.

Beautiful scenery and views of the lakes all around. Wished we could swim in the lake but it’s only allowed in designated area at the beginning of Green Lake. There is the option of Kayak if interested with the addition of the cleaning ones which is a plus.

Some trails are so overgrown! there's no way you could take children through there. A little maintenance would go a long way. Then maybe the trails would get some more usage.

Nice trail circling both lakes with options to bear off onto other off lake trails. Pavilions for picnicking and the views of the lake are just amazing. Clear teal water.

Easy and mostly flat.

Beautiful waterfall. The hike is easy but there are steps. I did this hike years ago with my family when I wasn’t in as good shape and i did it easily. My young children 6/8 at the time did it with no problem. It is a definite must see. Bring your camera, you won’t be disappointed

I'm in my late 50's and not in awesome shape anymore...this trail was my first since breaking my ankle last year and a few days after throwing my back out : ( so it was challenging for me, but so worth the effort! Lots of wildflowers and a few birds and chipmunks along the way. The view at the bottom is spectacular!

Short walk. Friendly for kids and pets and even folks on wheelchairs. To actually get under the small waterfall it’s a bit more dangerous for small children to maneuver up the rocks.

Easy, heavily traveled trail with gorgeous views and photo ops of the lakes.

Mostly flat; great for running!

beautiful lake. easy trail

Wonderful trail - even on busier weekends you can escape the noise.

This was a nice easy trail that took less than an hour at a leisurely pace. We are from Portland Oregon area and this was a great falls to see on the east coast! I would recommend it to anyone who would like an easy view point or enjoys a short hike.

My boyfriend had a great time adventuring. No trail that we saw. We kind of just climbed down the falls itself, but it probably wasn't the most safe way. When climbing up took the hillside on the left facing the falls. It was a pretty easy climb. I'd suggest going down that way (to the right of the falls when looking at the road) for a easier, safer route.

Trail 5 through mature, ferned woods was peaceful. Trail clear. appreciated comments on meadowgrass trails conditions so I wasn't surprised when I couldn't figure out which way to go. there ARE trail markers tucked along the way. good idea to download map. i saw a few disinterested bees, one small shy snake of unidentified species, and few bugs.

Easy downhill hike with a great view of this massive waterfall. It also has some interesting history.

Go on a weekday in the spring when the waterfall is flowing to avoid crowds and get a great view.

Well maintained trails around a beautiful clear lake. Do yourself a favor and visit on a weekday morning to avoid crowds. This is definitely worth it. So unique for New York State. There are sections with coral that resemble the Caribbean.

Really nice and super easy scenic walk. perfect for kids, and it's especially nice for them to actually go up behind the waterfall without it being super dangerous.
