very well maintained trail with lots of hills through beautiful forest. I'll be back again soon.

We went while it was snowing... so a handful of places were icy. It was beautiful, very quiet and a fun adventure to start our day! It was marked very well. I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the fall!! We only did the big/little Lyon Falls. Then back to the cover bridge and down to hog hollow! Can’t wait to come back.

This was a beautiful trail! We went while it was snowing which made the many steep inclines a little tricky. Totally worth it and so fun. Loved the portion that went through the pine trees. Good trail marking as well! I can’t wait to go back during spring and fall.

Lovely, lightly used trail. But I'd classify this trail as "easy"; graveled, flat path with little elevation gain/loss.

Easy 1.5 mile hike/walk. Very quiet, light traffic, clean grounds.

beautiful scenery for the area with plenty of history to accompany the views! Lots of areas to enjoy and change up for additional visits.

Love this trail

Trails were clean and easy to pass through. Scenery was beautiful and the fitness activities along the way were fun.

Edit: before leaving I went to the opposite trail head where I found the woodland trails I was looking for. The paths take you on an immediate climb uphill where you get a view of the gorge from above. Stunning. Well worth a regular visit

Was expecting more from my first time trip to a highly rated licking county trail. The whole path appears to be paved. I was looking for something more woodsy. Recent flooding and storms have created severe washout on lowland sections of trail; slick mud over blacktop make walking very tedious. About one mile into trail encountered total river washout over the path and was unable to proceed. This trail seems to offer a promising partial day hike with young or inexperienced hikers maybe to picnic farther out. Best to wait until flood waters recede. Will revisit later in summer.

Very fun hike! My wife, 10-year old daughter and I really enjoyed the varied elevations and beautiful views of the river. I would say the hike was really more of a moderate level, but a great time nonetheless.

Awesome trail even during winter months, with friendly hikers and mountain bikers. A couple of well placed picnic tables to grab a snack. Probably moderate in difficulty.

Dogs are prohibited on this trail. Otherwise a good time :)

I been a many many trails in Ohio, born in Lorain Ohio,
lived in Iowa 7 years, nice long trails there, new jeresy for 5 years, bad state to bike or walk,
the younger kids have gang's that pester any body that crosses there trails, getting back to Ohio. I love my home state, and riding or walking hundreds of miles, there's no place like home,

trail is only 1.8 miles. fairly muddy after some rainy weather over the past 2 days.

Excellent trail! A lot of love has gone into this one. Rollers, some flats, some great switchbacks and technical sections, as well as some fantastic rhythm sections. Any level runner can tackle this one. No need to worry about markings as it’s a fairly closed loop (not from the area and did it solo with zero difficulty.). Male sure to make a donation to the crew that keeps this trail up. There are a lot of little man made bridges to keep you from getting wet down in the creek beds so help out financially in any way you can.

Nice short trail with lots of gentle hills. Trailhead has well maintained restrooms, and ample parking.

Love this place! Great for hiking, and just exploring in general. Most of the trails are pretty well maintained but I like going off the beaten path, careful for snakes! : )

Great trail with a couple off trail loops you can go around. A lot of great photos can be taken here. Very scenic.

challenging, fun, quiet, well maintained and marked. if you do anything other than mtn bike I suggest going against traffic (southbound along Africa) so that others can see you easier, a lot of blind curves

I went with my four boys, even after rain is was fairly easy, please please be careful near the cliffs! Relatively easy to follow and beautiful area! High recommend even bring you dogs too

Not good for bikes. Buckeyes all over trail.

Loved this wide, mainly flat, paved trail. Beautiful scenery. Fun to see Amish buggies.

this crushed gravel trail is very smooth and user friendly

Easy trail to the falls. Heavily used trail. Not sure I would call either one of the trails with the name sale of Falls ... a water fall. Barely a trickle at both.

A bit too close to the road and some sort of business but overall a nice hike with one good climb going through a beautiful pine forest with thick fern undergrowth. An extra 0.5 mile nature loop was nice. Climbed the fire tower at the turn which was cool.
