Beautiful Gorge and great hike.

Loved this one! Took Freeman up and that part was my favorite! Down from the shelter has lots of traffic. Great hike!

Very nice trail. Went with 9 year old son and it was not problem but he was tired at the end of it. Nice along the Chattahoochee and along the lake. Good shade inland. Trails are easy to spot as long as you look for the white trail blaze markings on the trees.

Once you figure out the trail , it’s easy to follow.

Not a good experience, too much jungle.

Very nice views. I love water falls and this trail is amazing!

Wonderful hidden gem for a short walk in the woods. Nice trail to take your dog for a walk.

Very beautiful trail, people say it’s well trafficked but when I went one day during the week, and barely saw people out there. I went later in the day, passed by the campsite and there were people down there but I only passed 2-3 people/groups on the trail, so the seclusion made it even better.

Just like people say, it’s pretty anticlimactic if you choose not to make the little extra climb at the end to get up to see the waterfall, but you still pass by some on the way,

Awesome hike! I loved this so much. The hike up to Blood Mt. summit wasn’t too bad and the trail is well marked for the most part (although I did get turn around at some points) and the view from the top as incredible. The Freeman loop was not as fun. It is very rocky and you have to watch your footing while also watching out for spider webs. I ran into some hugggeeee spiders, which was not ideal. Good news is that if you go soon, I already cleared them out for you! Most definitely would hike again!

great hike in early spring when the flowers are blooming...great hike all around..bring a picnic lunch and have it on the flat rocks. you're welcome

Enjoyed this series of waterfalls and the deep gorge. Lots of stairs but worth the walk.

Okay trail... You are basicly walking on a path right near the road. Easy for children, definitely not moderate. It is easy!!! I would do that trail if you are looking for something easy and basic.

Did this yesterday. Beautiful day, beautiful hike. Not for amateurs. I expected the Freeman’s Loop portion to be easier than it was. Very rocky. Some people brought dogs but I think my dog (who is great on some hikes) would have struggled.

Did his about a week ago and had the best time ever! We should’ve stayed up top and just played around. The views were beautiful and the old shelter was cool (can’t wait to see what my fiend wrote on our next visit).

Beautiful Trail gradual incline well shaded. The sounds of the Creek is wonderful. Several really nice camp sites. We did our full pack shake down hike took our time. We spent an hour at the Cliff Falls had a snack filtered a liter
of water with a our Versa Flow. The round trip took 4:20 including our one hour break. Being beginners and the fact I am 54 and my wife is 53 and I am use to sitting on my brains for a living. We had a blast. Tomorrow we will try our first Backpack overnight.

Awesome trail and very crowded . So go early .

Great trail with a wonderful view of the Chattahoochee River. The scenery of the whole trail is beautiful!

Nice trail within city, easy to get to.

The trail is very beautiful, amazing mini waterfalls along the way, but the ending is not worth it, decided to climb all the way to the top but is very dangerous, be cautious and watch your step.

Nice morning hike. Parking fills up quickly.

This was awesome. I loved that it was not paved...a real hike! you have to look down a lot because of tree roots .they are everywhere but its what makes this so great! you get a real work out. dogs are welcome and all were very well behaved. you get to walk along the water and there are several water falls along the trail....it was awesome to get to the end! beautiful place.

Good trail. Beautiful whole way.

Hike itself was very nice. Waterfalls throughout were scenic. Very busy, however.

wonderful hike in the fall thru the spring...bring a picnic lunch and sit on the rocks and enjoy

I loved this trail. It's a long one, but totally worth it. Okay, so the waterfall at the end honestly wasn't worth the walk for me personally, but the walk itself is wonderful. Most of this walk is absolutely beautiful. Trees provide great shade and it's a slight incline all the way. It's noticable but barely. At the end there is a rock scramble you can go up. I didn't just because I had asked a few people and they said it wasn't worth doing it. I got some amazing photos and It was well worth the trip. Happy trails all.

Great neighborhood walk/running trail around a large pond.

Nice hike, go early to beat the crowds.

It was definitely worth doing for the beautiful views but is much more, in my option, a nature walk than a true hike. Lots of stairs, which woke up your legs for sure but not too challenging for someone who’s in good shape. Overall, a fun hour or two activity to see the impressive gorge and falls.

It was a beautiful day for an awesome hike!

Prefer to go up AT and return via Freeman Trail to avoid the crowds coming up. Freeman is usually empty.
