Great morning for a Cub Scout hike. Trails struck a good balance for all the participants.

Me and my wife enjoyed the view! Great trails

my fkin domaine baby

These trails are fenced off! As of nov. 2018 they seem closed if you enter from sweet hollow road. Hopefully they are doing maintenance and will open again!

Pleasant, relatively flat trail with some nice views of the river. Beware of ticks.

Nice easy hike through a coastal oak forest. Went on Sunday morning and parking was limited. Although there were plenty of people on trials it did not feel crowded. Nice view of Moriches Bay at the end of trail.

Lake side walkway, scenic. Campground and beautiful view of fall colors during this time.

Sandy roads get a little tough unless you've got a mountain bike. Had to push my skinny-tire commuter bike for a ways. Turned back around at Robbins Rest because sand was too thick and pushing the bike was lame. Interesting little towns/villages/whatever. Lighthouse was nice, but not open for climbing when I was there in the morning.

Was a nice trail but signs were very confusing. We followed the signs carefully but kept backtracking to get back on the trail. In order to stay on the trail you have to go away from the signs.

A great 11 mile loop. Quiet on a Wednesday with a few bikes and a runner or two. Very diverse and dense forest. Pretty flat but your body will thank you.

Our group of 4 enjoyed this hike. We went from the trailhead in Rocky Point and finished at Schultz Road, a total of 12 miles, completed in about 4.5 hours. The trails were clear, and we didn't have any ticks throughout the whole day. Planning on continuing onward within 2 weeks.

Fall colors Beautiful!

Nice trail, very wide for the most part, easy to follow, with blazes to keep you on track just in case. Not too much scenery, but a nice view of the water at the end. Probably a good trail if you want to avoid ticks.

10/24/2018-took my Webelos den for a required hike after school. A few bikes, and was not easy to get the boys in tune with the right of way. Lots of turns an change in terrain. Boys thoroughly enjoyed the area. Next time I would take a smaller group. Parking limited, and close to a busy hospital exit.

Very pretty loop trail with just enough change in terrain to keep it interesting.

Great place to hunt

Overall nice easy Sunday morning hike. The eastern side of loop has several areas to view Carmen’s River. Only complaint is that during entire hike our serenity was disrupted by constant gun fire from nearby rifle range.

Took the red trail. Marked very well, but was very sandy.Hilly and sandy made a more challenging run. I'd go back to run the green loop. Not muddy at all. Parking lot closes at 4. makes it a bit rushed for afternoon visitors. Lots of horse droppings on trail.

Too many dogs and unfortunately many off leash.

Penny pond loop is beautiful in fall! easy to navigate. use dirt road entrance off red creek rd (look for concrete monuments on right side 2/10 mile down) hike road then follow blue markers. about 3 miles. didn't do full trail which includes white trail, just blue around pond.

Lower trail was a little crowded as there was a run going on. Once we got off the main path, it was a nice quite hike. Nice views and once the leaves drop I'm sure even better.

Fun, relaxed nature walk!
