Very flat and hardy any rocks or roots on the trail. Very well marked with blazes, but you need to pay attention when it crosses other trails. One note, some of the photos listed are not of this trail, but other parks in Toledo area. There is a camp area on the trail that requires registration and payment ($20/$16 members in 2018) to camp overnight. Free firewood, indoor toilets, a pavilion with a fireplace (can be used unless someone else reserved it) and a dish washing station. There are a lot of boardwalks installed by local boyscouts. However, if it has rained, especially in the spring, your shoes will get very wet.

This park is beautiful! The bridge I saw clming was awesome and the historical bits along the way were interesting too!

A very nice park, perhaps a little too nice. It's been said that Wildwood is a victim of its own success. It is so nice that it's overused. If you're looking for some peace and quiet or solitude, this is not the place for you. If you don't mind company, this is certainly one of the best Metroparks.

I love nature

A good loop. Bring bug spray in the summer!

Great trial to spend 4-6 hours on. Bring boots if it has rained recently as parts can get really muddy.

Love it! Flat and easy to ride. I encountered a moderate amount of people who were all very friendly. Great scenery. I biked to Fallen Timbers and was able to enjoy a lunch outside before riding back. Definitely recommend!

Great trail. Fairly easy to follow the markers. Takes me about 5 hours to complete the full loop.

Great trail for hiking.

The walk was more than I expected. Beautiful scenery.... Turtles, snake, frogs, toad, birds, and even a muskrat cleaning his claws and eating some reeds for breakfast. The boardwalk is dated, so watch where you are walking. Very enjoyable trail!

One of my favorite trails to hike. The views from the overlook are wonderful. I used to leave early in the morning and have my coffee there as the sun was coming up. I have biked this trail a few times too, but prefer to hike it.

Calm walk, good to newer people in the Toledo area.

Beautiful park with shaded areas. The terrain of the paths are comfortable to walk on. Several different types of trails to pick from.

Amazingly long boardwalk through wide variety of wetland areas. Boardwalk is somewhat dated and will need some major repairs in a few years, but it was structurally sound on my visit. Tall vegetation somewhat obstructs wildlife/bird viewing. Observation platform allows you to see Lake Erie a few hundred feet away. Overall, one of the best wetland hikes in the Midwest.

The trails are great, but you better be mosquito repellent ready or your run or walk will be shorten. They're the rulers of the park.

Great trails only complaint is some of the low areas are all but impassable after a hard rain. More walkways needed.

Great strolling trail. Accessible for those with wheelchairs, walkers, canes, strollers. Plenty of places to sit and rest. Lots of wildlife. Dusk is a great time to see deer. Only con is that it's very popular and therefore tends to be rather populated.

I believe the overlook by the old bridge is one of the most beautiful sites in Northwest Ohio. There is a dirt parking lot right there and it's worth starting the run from there.

Awesome trail. Only issue we had was a confusing yellow marker so we missed a left turn. It was soon after dipping back onto the trail after it runs along beside airport highway, but there was a yellow mark on the tree to the left side near a trail fork but further down a couple tees(heading straight) there was another yellow marker on the right side on a tree. So we went straight, but should have taken a left. Other than that accidental confusing shortcut, it was awesome!

It's a nice option for locals, but I wouldn't recommend anyone go too far out of their way for it.

Great Park System and Trails not too far out of town. When I lived in the area this was my "go-to" hike. Easy to get around, very well marked, and you will see something new every time! Good to go to anytime of the year.

I did this trail with a couple buddies of mine. We really enjoyed this trail and are definitely planning on going again. The only bad thing was that there were a few parts of the trail that were very flooded, requiring us to go off the trail to get around it. Other than that, the trail was pretty well maintained and reasonably marked. Overall it's a very nice and beautiful trail.
