Awesome trails. Loads of fun. Great in the winter time too!

Great view in fall

This one works you! I did this solo on the first snow fall of the season in late October making for some very slippery sections. I did it in about 4 hours but it took everything out of me. In my opinion it has the best views in the park, so totally worth the effort.

Did the trail in the snow and it was a beautiful trail! Definitely one of the harder ones I've done so far. I would recommend this trail to anybody who is able to finish the whole 10km loop.

Excellent trail. Well marked! Did 9km in about 90 minutes with my dog.

nice trails & confusing to maneuver for rookies like me. Dog's paradise !!

Awesome hike at the end of fall season!

A bit easy to get turned around but it’s worth it for the beautiful fall walk!

had a great time will be going back

Took 3.5 hours with a few food stops. Trail was not too hard, a little wet in areas (it rained the day before). The blue trail markers sometimes are hard to follow so we had to back track 2 times. The views were nice, mostly mountain top and lakes. I recommend arriving early to get a good parking spot, and wearing good hiking shoes.

Such a beautiful spot to hike! I love how there are many trails to choose from. Go for a quick hike or really spend your time there. You could get lost in that forest for hours (my favorite feeling). I only had the chance to do the main trail (with quick stops at hermitage ruins and the Griffith house) and seeing how lovely it was, I would absolutely want to return to do all trails, multiple times, and maybe even try biking. Gorgeous in the fall, well marked trails. Recommend throughly!

The view when you reach to the top is breathtaking. Must have a good shoes. Definitely coming back next fall early in the morning when sunrise strikes

Went today and the colors were fantastic... Went clockwise and the views were nicer on the east side as there are more trees and no lake.
Took us about 4h but we had plenty of little stops. Would say hike is moderate as there is not a lot elevation gain.

Gorgeous views. A bit challenging but totally worth it. Took about 3 hours with minimum stops just to enjoy the view.

Parking was difficult to find if you just drove to the coordinate provided. The trail itself was quite pleasant, flat with some views of small lakes and streams. Probably even prettier with the fall colours a few weeks later!

I'd go back for sure. It is pretty busy but that worked in my favour when my license fell out of my pocket and a biker found it and I got it back! Everyone I encountered was incredibly nice. I will say it can get confusing at some of the path intersections with the way they are marked (or unmarked) and the park's maps aren't really great at helping you out. This app was incredibly helpful and I was thankful to have it. Parking is cheaper depending on what lot you start at. I was at the Artaban lot which was $5 but you start and end with a long hill. The views were wonderful though and there is a lot of variety depending on what you are looking for.

I do enjoy this trail. However I find it a little boring in sections. About 4 hours at moderate speed. Lovely vistas about 1/2 way.
Good footwear is an absolute must in this trail as the rocks can be slippery. Do take plenty of water as well!
Know your limitations on this one as it can be lengthy.

AMAZING HIKE! Love the nature. Love the water. Love the sounds. Love the birds. One of my favs & highly recommended.

Short hike but it was absolutely beautiful. Noticed that further down the right side of the trail it’s closed off by a big fence which is a let down.

You can get lost for hours and it is the best thing ever!! This is a great trail for ATV !! 5 stars !!

Great trail for a day hike with beautiful scenery.
must have: good hiking boots, comfortable backpack, plenty of water and food. My hiking boots were good but not THAT good, near the end of the 10km my feet were a little tender.
I definitely recommend this trail as a Medium in difficulty.

This trail has beautiful look out spots.
The terrain is extremely difficult, lots of long, steep inclines. Bring lots of water and snacks. It took us a little over 4 hours to complete with few stops.

The park’s current map is significantly different than the one shown here. I think the south part is still there, but possibly not listed on their maps? I didn’t check it out as the rain was starting to bucket down. The North part, from roughly the bridge the tubers cross up to the road and back, is an easy walk with some roots and rocks but mostly flat dirt or wood chips.
It took about an hour, with stops at the not-terribly-scenic lookouts and a sit-down for lunch.
Nice enough, but not scenic and the overall effect of a walk in the woods is spoiled by the fence.
The town of Elora is lovely, but I either missed the great views/hikes at the gorge or else they aren’t there any more.
Had a great day anyway! The camping and tubing look good.

Great trail for a family walk.

Awesome trail. I went with my parents (64years old) and it took us 6 hours to complete. The trail was slippy because of dramatic rainfall and we did stop and rest a lot.
My mom regretted the trail, I would do it again. Lovely views, it had all I wished for!
