Easy trail, well paved, quite a bit of incline. The river that flows into the waterfall at the top is very fun to play in. The water is nice and cold to cool you off after the hike.

great hike. Wife is a beginner but had great time. Lush wood made for cool hiking

a nice hike, though it is near a road so not as remote as I'd prefer. the waterfall is so worth it though!

The waterfall itself is magnificent, and the bridge adds a unique vantage point and looks pretty cool in photos too. I gave it 3 stars because unless you come super early or super late, you’re going to be with hundreds of other people. If you can manage to come when there’s little to no crowds, it’s easily a 5 star waterfall.

Easy hikes available for every age group

Beautiful place

Went off hours, late afternoon on a weekday, and had the place almost to myself. Can get packed on weekends.

We visited today with our two-year-old. While the hike above/after the bridge is closed, we had a nice quarter-ish mile walk up to the bridge, which is a main viewing point of the falls. Had a kid in a carrier backpack going up the hill, so the round trip was brief, but still made us break a little sweat. Uphill walk but nicely paved. Expect a crowd on the bridge. Parking lot leads right to the falls, so you can’t miss it. Only giving four starts bc main hike was closed and the first viewpoint should be marked as a separate east hike.

Easy walking trail mostly on red sand. Highly recommend climbing the rock wall at the end of the trail - AMAZING views of Sedona!

Well maintained trail in the heart of PDX. I prefer early as the trail is open at 5 AM. Nice and quiet then.

beautiful...Lots of trails.

Grew up hiking these trails as a kid in elementary school on field trips. A good easy hike for all ages! The suspension bridge is always fun too!

Went early in the morning, less crowded. Fantastic view from top. Lots of switchbacks.

Easy hike through a dried out creekbed. No waterfall at the end.

I will be going again but definitely not kid friendly. Next time I'll just take my aussie. It is worth it and beautiful. just not with clumsy kids or dogs. (i have a older aussie who did great and a young pit who did not! they have both done great on trails before this was just too long for my 1.5 year pup)

Great hike in the city.

Love this trail, perfect hiking place for a hot day.

Easy in/out , ending in the rock slide. If you go down into the dry creek, you. an go farther up the canyon.

Enjoyed this hike. Peaceful and beautiful

Nicely maintained trail. Beautiful view at the top.

Great forested hike including a grand tree. The destination provides a stunning view of the surrounding area including Saddle Mountain.

Was there 3-4 days ago and see I may have walked past another Murray. Nice hike the river was a needed with the hot weather.

Really great for a city trail. Good for trail running.

The drive there was very bumpy. Take a suv or truck. The way down to the waterfall is a bit tricky. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it almost looked like we were at a water park FULL of people, everyone was nice and minded their own business, so we didn’t really mind that. Great swimming spot for kids. We took our 2 year old and she LOVED it.

If you are coming from southern washington the road to get there will say closed about 3-4 miles from the trailhead. We drove past the road closed signs and came to a giant pothole in the road that no cars could get around (jeeps or trucks could make it) so we had to park and walk about 2 miles to the trail, being chased by bees the whole way. Not fun. But the lower waterfall was gorgeous and good for swimming, and I will be going back! Next time we will go around to enter from the north side to avoid the potholes and bees.

The waterfalls are worth the drive and hike!

WARNING: Too busy as we were passing through. Exit 28 currently does not go through to the lodge. The road is closed. We heard from others that the bridal veil falls we stopped at we’re just as pretty, but not as tall.

So glad I got to see it BUT the road to get there washed out and we were detoured thru hood river Oregon to get home! Literally took us an additional four hours to get back to I-5.

It’s more like 8.4. It felt long to me haha. It was shaded most of the way. It was rocky and at parts steep and cliffy edges. Many times you can get down to the Clackamas for a cool down. It is always near the river so the view is pretty. Trail goes up and down and up and down etc so it’s fairly consistent. The falls are nice and cool but not a whole lot of room. There are 2 tiers and you can climb up the first. I didn’t see a whole lot of people on the trail but it was fun to watch the rafts and kayaks come by.
