Great trail, awesome hike, amazing waterfall.

Well marked, good trail, fun jaunt through the woods.

I took the trail from Table Rock to Laurel Valley yesterday morning 8-3-18 during the rain. The Creeks and Falls along the trail were raging but awesome to see and hear. Crossing points were still safe but reccomend the upmost caution. The sky's cleared by the time I crested at Sassafras overlook. I made the section in 4:35. Looking forward to Hiking the trail all the way to OSP soon.

Started around 0800 yesterday morning and had some slippery/muddy trails during the first half mile or so then it dried up. Got to the scenic outlook 2 hrs later. Beautiful views!!! Definitely worth the hike. There were a few tricky parts in places that required hands to climb up but overall it was a lightly strenuous and very rewarding hike. Definitely recommend!!!

Easy, well marked trail to hike.
This waterfall is my absolute favorite. To say that it’s stunningly beautiful is a complete understatement! It’s truly magical!
100% worth the drive and the hike to get to it!

Strenuous hike but definitely worth the beautiful views once you reach the top! Feels like you’re on top of the world:)
Like others have mentioned, bring plenty of water to help stay hydrated!
Finished the hike with an immense sense of accomplishment

Loved the hike! Definitely hard going up but the views are worth it! Take plenty of water! I would hike it again in a heart beat! Lots of steps. Amazing that the trail was created by the CCC back in the 30’s.

Very good trail. Had lots of water on trails that made some of the rock climbs very slick but was overall great. Carry plenty of water.

Easy hike with great reward payoff at the end. Falls were awesome and definitely highly recommended! I prefer this set of falls over Station Cove honestly. I was there all by myself in the AM! Dog did great too!

We did the first 30 miles from Oconee to Whitewater Falls October 2017 in 2.5 days. Pretty cruisy with some great camp sites. Didn't see anyone on our Thursday to Saturday walk. Went back to Table Rock SP May 3, 4, 5, 2018, and finished up the last 48 miles. Sassafras Mt. was closed due to the new tower construction. There was one worker dude up there in a truck hanging out with his girlfriend. We obeyed and took the detour but I wasn't pleased. We finished day 2 with Heartbreak Ridge and I agree with a previous poster on finishing the day with Heartbreaker and getting yourself one of the sweeeeeet campsites by the Toxaway because the next day you got about 16 pretty tough miles to the camp that the Girlscouts constructed close to the base of Whitewater Falls. Hats off to all the Eagle Scouts who did their community service projects on this trail; their everywhere. As for water... it's everywhere.

Fav trail!

Meh. I didn’t have my trekking poles so, I turned around at about 2.5 miles. Before I turned around the trail was very nice though. I will definitely go back and attempt it again.

Last thing i forgot to mention to the right of the finale overlook there is a waterfall on the side of the moutain.

Fun hike. I felt it was arduous but a beautiful view. Definitely need 2-3 L of water and snacks are worthwhile. ☺️

Loved this one! It’s well marked, multiple easy creek crossings, beautiful falls! I recommend dipping your feet in the water & enjoying the refreshing cold water!

Very fun and great views. Honestly it was not as difficult as expected. I even saw a 6 year old hike to the top. Just a warning once you get to the sumit you must keep walking to get the best most amazing view of the trail. The trail very fun though and had several waterfalls at the beginning you can swim in after the long hike. I highly recommend to taking a few hours and trying it but bring large amouts of water i saw at least 5 groups unable to make it because they ran out by governors rock.

Enjoyed the distance and views with bridges. Narrow at certain areas but the waterfall was well worth it!

This Hike was amazing and difficult but the views were stunning.

Make no mistake, this trail is very, very intense. Very.

Pretty nice hike that is mildly strenuous especially the first couple miles. Factor in extra time for weather as it poured down rain the whole time we were there but still so worth it

I hiked this in early March and the views at bald knob were spectacular. I loved the little waterfalls and mountain views along the trail. I can't wait to do it again. Be aware: it is 7.2 miles to bald knob and back, NOT the summit.

It seems like it was only yesterday...because it was :) . This trail is a challenge! The first two miles are straight up....a lot of stone and wooden stairs to climb. Then a half mile flat...then a climb...at mile 3 another flat...and then one last push to the top. And then you descend a bit to get to the overlook. The climb down...it is not a breeze. Don't expect an easy decent. It rained briefly , just enough to slicken the rocks which slowed us up..because better safe than sorry. This was rewarding...the view is great, and you will be proud of yourself , to be sure. After the hike was over we showered in the lowest waterfall, in Cold mountain water! And then drove back to Charleston.

Hiked table Rock trail. Very strenuous uphill climb for most of it. Incline dirt trail and lots of steps up rocks. Beautiful view is your reward.

This was a great trail! Very well maintained, muddy in some spots but easy to get around. Love love love crossing the creeks! The waterfall is spectacular and a great place to take a break and cool off before hiking out. Can’t wait to visit this one again!

This is a well maintained and well marked trail. We have had some bad storms this summer, so there are a couple downed trees that you will need to maneuver. Also, it is muddy and slick in places. Young children will need to be watched carefully. There are some moderate drop offs. The stream crossings are fun and easy and add to the variety on this trail. Lots of roots, so hiking shoes are advised. Because we’ve had a lot of rain, the falls were amazing!!! All in all a really enjoyable hike.

Very convenient to Highlands or Clemson.
Nice walk through mixed hardwood forest to beautiful wide falls. Several stream crossings but trail is reasonably well-maintained.
Hiked with wife and teenage kids. Reasonably fit but not in a hurry, took approximately 50 minutes each way. We hiked in a drizzle- barely felt the rain.
Best view of the falls is across the creek so you’ll want to wade. Walking stick recommended.
Pit toilet in parking lot.

This is no joke. The hike is beautiful and my legs felt like Jello. It was intense but I am so glad I did it! My legs hurt for three days later. haha

Beautiful hike & fabulous falls. Really enjoyed this trail. The dog loved it too! Pass over 4-5 creeks. Well marked & well maintained.

Stunning falls and nice trail!
