Great hike to do when its raining. Not too busy and not to hard. It was muddy and wet but well worth it. The big tree is amazing! The water fall at this time of year is impressive.

Hiked from Sasimat lake as butzen didnt open that early. Hiked to second view and returned taking the buntzen side of the small loop. Trail is dry and still well marked. Five ish hours at a moderate pace. Nice morning hike alittle tough on the knees.

Nice little suspension bridge. Coffee place for after, nice and easy hike.

Did 18km of the walk. Started at Kebet Way off the Mary Hill. Walked south along the water and then up Roth along the coquitlam river until crossing Shaughnessy and heading back to where we started.

I don't recommend. Views are not more than OK and the path is full of rocks and roots. You will see nothing except trees for 99% of your hike. You can find way better hikes in the area.

What a beautiful trail. Well marked path with lots of people using the trail. Not long but the top is amazing would definitely go again in the summer

Great dog walk

Doing it again this weekend, last time was 2015 when I first visited BC. Loved it then! No need for snowshoes, well used and packed down apparently. Unless going further to Greendrop, which is less well trodden.

One of my all time favorites. It is fun to camp at garibaldi lake and then finish panorama ridge in the morning. Allows for more energy to play on the glacier and enjoy the views. In the summer lots of people swim in the lake which is always a highlight. I have also been up here on snowshoes however it was quite difficult to reach due to the absent trails and poor snow quality.

I saw on 10hikes(https://10hikes.com/canada/whistler-hikes/panorama-ridge/) that you can slide down the glacier, but I haven't been able to find more advice on this. Any tips?

Great payoff for a very easy and short hike with minimal incline. Did it with crampons mid January

Hiked trail today for the first time found it to be in good shape views were great.
The trail was well marked with steep vertical at the start, sure footing required
Note this route is harder than the lake trail, the post that sugested to do the lake trail a couple of times first is good advice

I’ve done this a lot in the summer. Does anyone know the current conditions of this trail?

Busy trail but beautiful hike through the forest. Tolerated very well with hiking shoes for walking and running. Some icy areas at the last 300m stretch before the view. Individuals with snowshoes needed to remove them around this last stretch due to icy inclines

The hike was great make sure you take poles and proper snowshoes. The view on the top is amazing. Make sure you check the avalanche warnings there are about 4 avalanche paths make sure you are prepared before you head up in the winter.

Easy enough to do with hiking boots and yaktrax as the trail is very packed down. A little too busy for my liking but worth the view!

Today, we went for snowshoeing. It was quite easy walk. 2 to 3 hours around trip. Weather was very nice. Quite a busy trail. Beautiful up there

->2017 01 23 Make it to the top and sleep there! After looking the trail a bit for the last strench, we made a detour with zig zag because we couldn't see the red signs
Av speed 1,6

->2017 12 07 Went back again but had to stop before the last strench, the trail wasn't marked, ice on rock and too much snow in some area. As a safe person, we dinid't hike to the top to sleep there :-( We could park the car (4x4) up the 2 km of the road.

Amazing scenery!

A bit of everything on this trail. No water sources at all other than two rancid swamp ponds. Pack water.

good snow shoe trail, can get too busy. easy to use just crampons instead of shoes. great view up top.

Great view!

This one I love snow or no snow. The inclines are great to get you sweating and feel a little challenging but it's well worth it in the end , make sure you pick a day where the sky is clear for the view, when the snow comes, so do the whiskey jacks so bring some bread or seeds. It's a great hike for the family too or beginners in snow shoeing, safe. And dog friendly.

This hike is tons of fun
Would recommend to camp at battleship island and make it a 3 or 4 day hike to see black tusk as well
Great view from every where
9.5/10 is what I rate it

Amazing! Start early to avoid hiking in the dark, but if you have enough food and gear the sunset from the Ridge is beautiful.

October 29. Easy trail up, pretty views up top. Muddy spots here and there but it’s late in the season and has rained a bit. Pretty busy, people and dogs. Took the east trail up and down. I prefer Tunnel Bluffs over this one. Same view but shorter.

Still snow on upper part of trail, slippery,
Easy to follow. Beautiful view. I suggest hiking boots and micro spikes ( would make going up easier but not necessary. Garibaldi campsite very busy, Helm Creek much quieter.

Really satisfying hike with a mix of challenging and easy sections. We found 3 viewpoints on the ridge the rest seemed to be overgrown.
Bring plenty of water and hiking polls if you have them.
I wouldn't recommend this walk if you are unfit or have small kids.

Steep but short hike up to Lindeman (take polls if you have them). The autumn colours are lovely. Great place for a dip in the summertime.
Lots of boulder hopping to Greendrop. I personally found this lake less attractive so would stop at the far end of Lindeman next time.

Did this in July, some great views, saw a black bear in the trail but he wasn’t interested in us.
