Decent hike once you get past the factories.

Easy, beautiful hike. Did it twice this year.

I did this hike July 8, 2018. It’s not difficult, other then waking on small to big rocks the whole time, you just want to be careful so you don’t twist your ankle. It was a busy trail the day we went, but not crowded. Many people were rock climbing too. Once you pass the waterfall it gets quieter, most people turn around and head back there. We continued on and passed inukshuks people had made. The trail opens up into a big valley. We kept on hiking until we got tired, but we wanted to see if we could reach an end to the river valley, but there was none in sight.

Nice easy trail! Was great but you only need to do it once in my opinion

Easy, not views but mild for all skill levels, we did it counterclockwise to add a little challenge, so instead of tons of downhill we climbed them! kid friendly trail!

Easy but beautiful hike

Went out today and got up to the alpine meadow but wasn’t able to complete either side of the loop due to the deep snow. There were tracks so I imagine if you had the gear and gators then it wouldn’t have been a problem. But I was alone without gators and only crampons so I decided to duck out. I look forward to going back in the spring/summer.

This was an awesome little trail! Just did it last week with our baby and the frozen falls at the end were pretty :)

An easy hike. Went on Nov 4, weather was good; overcast with sunny periods, temperatures around 6-8 degrees. Mostly walking through trees, not a scenic hike. Once is enough. We lucked out with the weather, once back in the vehicle it started to rain.

Amazing views of mountains! We went in Mid Oct before the larch trees lost their needles. Beautiful fall colours! Trail was slippery with fair bit of snow at the top. Traction aids and hiking poles were definitely a benefit for this hike especially for the descent. This hike is a gradual climb up with some steep areas in the trees, flattens out near the top, then gradual climb to reach the top. It’s a nice moderate hike. Would recommend it and will definitely hike it again.

Very nice trail! Though be aware of cougars. We spotted one.

Trail was ok. Very rocky. Starts out near the lefarge plant.. kinda interferes with the nice scenery part. Waterfall is small. Nothing in the cave. Meh

A quick and easy hike, definitely family and pet friendly. Do not go to Nakiska as they’ll advise you to turn around. From Mount Allan Drive, turn right on Stoney Trail which descends into the parking lot. Can start at the trailhead in the trees or take the clearing and then left to get to the falls. I recommend going to the upper falls after. Trail is well used and marked. Very scenic with several mini water falls.

Amazing view at the top, definitely gets steep towards the top though but it goes by fast! Took us 2.5 hours total with a stop at the top. Not marked that well tough. Lots of people, no snow yet

Easy hike with beautiful views of downtown and the Rockies.

We had planned on doing another trail, but ended up here in late October. The trail was pretty icy and I was glad we brought poles. Traction wear would have been good too. Good view of a couple mountain peaks along the way. We set out walking along the creek. There were many good quality bridges crossing the creek, which I thought added nicely to the hike.

This was my first ever serious hike loved it amazing views at the top. Busy in the summer

Easy walk with a small waterfall to view. Not to many people around either. Path is clearly marked and bathrooms at parking lot

Was a great little hike. Nice easy walk along the creek. Only disappointment was I couldn't as make it up the hoodoo to the cave to see the drawings. Both me and the pup kept sliding down as I am not a scrambler and there wasn't anything to grab onto to get up there. But will try again next time :)

Did this hike 3 days ago. There was a lot of traffic, be careful of some icy and some muddy parts. There was a girl that fell on the hike a little while ago and it paralyzed now. The hike isn’t hard at all.

Great short hike with some very good views of the jagged peaks that surrounded. just missed out on larch season but was still a solid hike. Not strenuous but a decent little workout

I had a lovely afternoon hike with my dog. It is out of the city but is close enough for a spur of the moment hike. Trails are well marked and easy for a casual walk. Muddy spots.

kind of muddy today but pretty
