Super super muddy. My feet were getting sucked into the trail. Spots with a lot of ice and snow.
did this without spikes which would have been nice because it was super snowy. great hike I only saw two people for the first four miles of the trail. frozen in the gully but slush and mud up on the rim. watch out for non-frozen horse poo.
test unique review
Only went a few thousand feet as I only had tennis shoes. Snow is wet, heavy, clumped on people's yak traxs. Sledding and flying saucer fun very early on the trail with families.
Nice trail through Dimple Dell with good views. Trail was completely free of snow and ice.
This hike was SO beautiful. I did it 2 days ago. There are many places where the trail breaks off, and you can explore a lot of areas. The very beginning is very icy, so spikes would be helpful but I made it without them. Once you get past the first like quarter mile, you are fine. There are very muddy parts as well. Very worth it though.
Beautiful! Blue bird day after some manageable fluffy snow storm
This was my first real walk since total knee replacement surgery. A perfect trail for it. Gorgeous views. Not too difficult. With pleasant company it was a home run.
Ran it the opposite way, very beautiful views. Trail is busy as others mentioned. Muddy and snowy/icy by the Aves but trail is dry from Pioneer Park through the sections by the U.
several spots are quite muddy, otherwise trail is in great condition. very busy with lots of mountain bikers
90% ice, 10% mud and dirt. Definitely bring something grippy for your shoes!
Easy trail and beautiful views.
The other reviews about poor signage are accurate. It’s easy enough to get to the top of Clark’s, but at the upper trailhead (which is ugly and being developed with a bunch of houses) the signage is bad. I ended up on a bike trail with tons of switchbacks. Any of the trails that are shared with bikes are really not pleasant. In the winter they get packed smooth and are super icy. In the summer, you get run over. Giving up on Corner Canyon hiking. Will bring the bikes up perhaps come summer, but there are much better hiking trails nearby with some peace and serenity.
Super icy today. Wear spikes!
Icy trail, clear sunny day. Spikes are necessary. A lot of people out on a Sunday. Bikers out but mostly walking their bikes ;)
