The trail was pretty and well established. You see three large falls and there is alot of shade.

Campground was awesome. Lower falls were extremely busy Sunday but the middle and upper were quiet. Monday morning coffee we had the lower falls to ourselves. What a cool place to visit

Road getting to Lewis Falls was a little bumpy in spots. We arrived at the parking lot for Lower Falls around 8 am. A NW Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass is required to park ( Discovery Pass will not work), or you can pay $5 for a day use permit. All of the falls are impressive but Lower Falls is the biggest attraction of the three. We went and looked at the landslide/ trail closure near Middle Falls and I can assure you Do Not Go That way! Follow the detour. We got there early enough that we were the only ones on the trail heading from Lower towards Upper. On the way back however, we passed several people. Nice hike and I would go again, hopefully in the fall with all the colors.

Was a great day on the trails. The drive was the worst part, but once you are there. "amazing". Also once you get to the upper falls don't stop follow the smaller trail up. It's a very steep incline but well worth the effort to get there.

Was nice but the drive to get there and out was a little rough they need more sign but the falls were amazing

Absolutely beautiful and stunning would do it again

Such a great hike! And pretty easy too. My friend brought her pup here as her first hike and the puppers loved it. Great weather to dip in the water. Visited each fall and they were all so beautiful but my favorite was Upper fall because it was less packed (I figure since it’s at the end of the hike) Definitely one of my favorites now! Will go back and just swim for the day next time.

Such a dope atmosphere so many good pictures. You can swim in the lower river falls but it is a bit tricky to get to.

This was such an amazing hike! Beautiful trail and waterfalls. Kid friendly and dog friendly as well. This place is now my new favorite hike in WA. Can’t wait to go back there

The hike today was beautiful. Not very busy on the trail to the top falls and we arrived to the trail head around 1030. The hike is relatively easy, but beautiful all the way with the river almost always in sight. The lower falls was busy with swimmers on a nice sunny day, but not overly so and all were friendly and respectful.

It was a nice hike. My 76 y.o. mom did just fine. Today was perfect, low 70’s. Trail was well maintained. Long drive from Vancouver, but it was worth it.

Beautiful well groomed trail. Depending on time of year there are several people swimming. Not as peaceful or a good time to get beautiful photos. Pet friendly lots of shade. Been to this fall several times different times of the year. Parking can be difficult during the summer season. still worth going to.

Not too many people, great hike.

An incredible hike. Definitely out of the way but great day hike. Dog loved jumping in the water and falls were amazing. Well made trail and well kept. Would do again and would recommend!

FYI-There are signs along the road to the trailhead saying that the falls are closed but the road to get there is in fact open. I think the rangers just haven’t updated the signage in the area yet. The trails were clear of snow. Pretty easy trail overall.

Beautiful hike along Lewis River. Started at Lower Falls and worked our way up to Upper Falls. Great campgrounds at Lower Falls. This is a fun day hike for anybody to enjoy. Lots of good view points of the falls along the way! Some rocky and muddy parts but nothing regular hiking boots can’t get through. Can’t wait to come back and camp.

The hike was very nice. We had great weather. It was a bit muddy between middle and upper falls.

Not too hard, easy day trip if you are in shape.

Drive to trailhead: This may be out of the way a bit but the drive is totally worth it! We came from the west and although we read that this required an SUV we felt any car could easily make it to the trailhead from the west. There were just a few potholes that could be avoided by driving around them. No snow on the road. We went on Easter Sunday and although there were other people on the trail, there were many long sections where we didn't see anyone. The waterfalls are amazing. It was my first visit and I'm sure they look different in all seasons but right now the water flow is high so they are big, beautiful and powerful. We hiked from lower falls to upper falls and the trail was a gradual incline. Most of the trail is a decent width but there were a few narrow spots. We had a dog so we just kept him on a shorter leash in those sections. The trail had a lot of fallen tree branches on it but my hiking partner cleaned most of them off the trail so it shouldn't be too bad now. Great hike - I'll be back!

April 16, 2019. Seven of us started hiking at 10:30 a.m. Only a few other hikers Drizzled on and off but no matter. The falls were stunning! Don’t miss the gigantic Douglas fir and Western Red Cedar midway to upper falls. Trail a bit narrow in spots so had to watch our step. Well worth the drive from Portland.

The falls were gorgeous and the hike along the water was relaxing. Not technical, pretty easy

This was a great trail. There was only a little snow in some spots, and we only saw only one other person. The waterfalls were spectacular!

Did this hike a while back. Did not disappoint, very beautiful.
