partially closed for construction. the visitors center and shops are also pretty torn up with construction works.
The loop as of now is completely closed for maintenance. But on the bright side there was literally no one there and the parking fees were waived! Cool to see these guys chillin in the rocks.
I arrived at 7am and caught the sunrise on the faces of Mt. Rushmore it was really beautiful (pic uploaded). There was quite a bit of construction on the platform. It didn’t bother me but it may bother others. Stay safe out there!
Very well maintained, beautiful views.
Surprisingly busy for being an off season...still an easy hike with good views of Rushmore and info points along the way.
Nice hike on a cool day with no crowds.
Awesome trail that gets you more up close to the monument. Most of the trail is a boardwalk with many steps in between so be mindful of that. Definitely a must do while you’re visiting the monument.
Nice easy trail but crowded. Nice closeups of the presidents.
Great easy hike. Amazing views of Mt. Rushmore.
simple loop, many photo spots
Easy hike, great views.
Só neat!
Easy trail. Offers a variety of closer viewpoints of the monument. Worth doing since it's short. There's a nice spot where you can see Washington's head through a split rock.
Brings tears to your eyes knowing what each President went thru to accomplish their vision for the good of the country
Quick trail, heavy use, great views of the Monument.
Nothing per se wrong with this mini hike, but crowded and political, as in close proximity, banner picture taking with a certain candidate. Plus side is you must wear a mask to get in the cafe—so that’s a lot less crowded.
Nice short hike, and pretty crowded (as you would expect). Be prepared for stairs up and down.
Enjoyed the trail great view of faces
Easy trail. Good views of monument
Great place to visit
If you enjoy lots of stair climbing, go counter clockwise. A clockwise route avoids most upward stairs. Pass the Carver’s Museum and take the elevator to avoid the final staircase to the amphitheater area.
