Easy hike. Pretty views. Couldn’t find the path that lead all the way around. But will return.

Nice long walk, some slow incline and decline, nice scenery. great for biking. could rate higher but for the traffic. Usually some people nearby that don't know the benefits of peace and quiet and talk talk talk. Best in evening for less people. Castle nearby has events too.

Easy hike with a small castle on the top of the hill. Plenty of parking. Lots of downed trees.

Some tricky spots, but fun

A great walk. A little elevation to a scenic overlook.

Me and my dog loved the place !

Loved it!!

Great views with minimal effort. Good for families. Lots of dogs. I had one visit from an off-leash wet & muddy dog, but she was cute and owner apologetic.

Easy hiking trail that allows children and dogs. There were too many dogs off their leash that had been in the lake running up to me and sharing their wet bodies, not so good. The lake views are nice and the mountain top view is good.

One of my favorites to go on with my 6 year old. She is a trooper, don’t let her age fool you. Last time we saw wild turkeys and a deer mid day. Beautiful views.

Make sure you know to come back out the same way you go in! As you get deeper into the trail, the paths narrow and you can get lost. Not good signage around or marks. Pretty flat. Near the rear of the trail, lots of flying bugs, so bring some repellent

Ward Trail is some paved and clear path. On Vetter watch out for he poison ivy and oak. This time of year lots of flying bugs, so a little deet not bad idea

good for starting

Great diversity in trail difficulty/terrain and some nice views of Boston skyline make this an ideal trail running or hiking location. When I ran out to the marsh/bog section there were at least 4 snakes slithering about on the boards, which was pretty cool.

Easy and well marked trails with long hilltop views and peaceful woods filled with miles of old farmers walls.

More of a dog friendly environment. Other than that nice walk does elevates nice view.

all trails directions took us to a private business parking lot. had to use a different entrance. $5.00 parking fee. pretty pond at the end of a boardwalk through a big at the nature trail.

This is my go-to choice for trail running; it is also a nice easy hike. Lots of elevation changes and nice views. Several muddy spots especially after rain. Lots of people and dogs.

Great views, great hike, loved it only thing is the signs are a little confusing we slightly got lost on the way back, good thing is it all eventually goes to the same place.. I strongly recommend this trail

Great Run! Love that it’s a loop, started at the parking lot next to the beach access and went to the left at the trailhead. Left is straight hill for at least a half mile. Got that out of the way and gorgeous views at the top. Went back down and as long as you keep going right and towards the water your good! Lots of rocks, certain spots are just straight flat surfaces though! Only thing is if your running go slow over the wood bridges over the swamp parts. Sturdy but because of where they are and how fast your running they bend! Happy Trail Running

This is one of my favorite places to trail walk. Theres a lot of little streams in spring and many places to explore around the reservation. One of the coolest things to do is to check out the fire tower and solar dial at the top of the hill.

I love this trail. Like others have said, there are some trees that are down, but nothing you can't go over. The trails are marked and easy to follow. Nice scenic views . There are 2 chairs located at Elephant's Rock. It was a nice surprise after some incline. There is a $5 parking fee that you pay with a card.

The trail is easy. There are currently trees down so we had to do some swerving around. Due to rain there are some parts that are muddy. I didn't like this trail mainly because it does not loop around so at some point you have to walk on the street which has no sidewalks. There also seems to be a lot of ticks on the trail. My dog was leashed so it's not like she went off path. I was able to dust off several, but had to pull 2 ticks out with tweezers.

Overall, I see potential once spring is in full swing, but I don't see myself coming here again. Like I said, you have to walk on the street to get back to your car.

Beautiful trail. Well marked and easy to follow. There were less than a handful of downed trees in the path but they are very easy to step over. They are doing a great job clearing them away.

Close by and well marked trails
Not a quiet place - close to roads - but still pretty

Versatile place to walk/hike. Lovely views on top of the hill. The bog boardwalk was fun to explore. $5 parking fee, pay by card.

very easy. nice views of the Shawsheen river. bird sanctuary in Western end

Great views from Boston hill if you take the red trail! I think technically the red trail is slightly over 3 miles. Doing the loop as advertised here incorporates parts of the blue trail too, but the whole area is very well marked with signs and maps any time the trails split so it’s not too difficult to know where you are. I would classify this more as easy than moderate, but still, a very nice hike. Trails are well maintained and very wide. Great for dogs!
