Beautiful day to hike/walk the Monterey Peninsula Recreational Trail. Right on the ocean so the view is awesome and there are a few places where you can climb on the rocks and get down to the sandy beach. Great views of Point Pinos Lighthouse! Trail is well kept and it wasn't too crowded.

Biked this trail. Highly recommend experiencing it.
Area from Cannery Row to Lover’s Point is very popular and congested, making biking difficult. I got off bike and walked it through this area until I got further out on Ocean View road (past Lover’s Point).

Biked this trail. Loved it. There is a bike lane for about 1/3 of the trip (along the coast line), but no lanes around the residential areas. There are beautiful homes and some good “hilly” portions (clocked 30 mph coasting down one). Be aware and present on this trail.
There is a “half-way” point with restrooms, a market, restaurants, shopping, etc- and a good “over-look” platform with a gorgeous view of the rocky bay.

super easy and beautiful views!

Beautiful scenery, easy hike but with some rocks here and there if you want to climb (a little).

Breathtaking views!

a beautiful easy walk with lots of rocks to climb if you choose.

Beautiful views; lots of people.

Went out with the family To begin 2019 with a fresh start, especially with family. We had a wonderful time there were so many places to wander off the trail even though the trail essentially is a loop. It was a pleasure to be able to see it all the humpback whales, as well as the sea lions and otters. We planned the trip by going to Erik deli which happened to stay with us the entire trip, but drink plenty of water. And there are guide for longer true but you also have to be careful to not get so involved with looking ahead because you’ll end up tripping there are many holes and rocks that you could end up falling. However I will say it was one of the best hikes I’ve had in the month of January. I hope you enjoy, And the children will enjoy this as well. There are tons of babies along with strollers all around although I don’t know how they carry them. But if it’s possible you guys enjoy

An easy, scenic trail with birds, sea life, and flora along the trail for all to enjoy.

Super low effort high reward. Lots of tourists but really beautiful place if you are looking for something easy.

Great easy walk with kids and dog! Beautiful view along the way.

Came here on Christmas Day to walk off our breakfast. Views are beautiful and its dog and stroller friendly. Only downside is it gets somewhat busy, but we still had a great time.

very pretty and easy hike.

Love the views, hiking around the park is a good workout on easy to moderate trails. Go early to beat the crowds and park outside the park and walk in to avoid a parking fee.

Beautiful views. There is a bit of construction going on to keep the trails in order. Still safe.
Friendly and dogs welcome on leash.

Beautiful trail - one of my favorites. It's short, easy, and simply gorgeous. We stopped for a lot of photos. I wouldn't bring my little ones here though, especially for the ones who don't want to stay on track because the edges are high and steep.

Fantastic walk. Good path. Stellar views.

Amazing!!!

Did this hike last Thanksgiving. It is one if so many breathtaking walks along the west coast. Look/listen for sea lions on the rocks below. Amazing patterns in the rock etched by wind and water. Fascinating history.
