Great trail to the waterfall. Show up early and it's not bad.

Much more enjoyable than the zoo at Snoqualmie Falls.

Been there on Saturday 2018/08/18. Took two hours - to and fro. I did not like it. Waterfall is very small not like the pictures shown. Hike it self is not pleasant and It is more of walk in the woods than hike. No proper signs, some confusion on trail route at couple of junctions, we made it though. 'All Trails' app map helps some extent. No designated parking lot, we were there at around 7:30 and could easily find the place to park on roadside. There is no board or sign at the trail head so it was confusing and had to wait for other hikers to come and follow them. Trail head is at at the junction of Mountain View Rd & Cherry Valley Rd where couple of concrete blocks are placed. It is an easy and long walk and good for kids. Do I go there again? Nope.

We did this hike today and it's beautiful. The first cave is easily accessible however the others require little effort but worth it. There was a water curtain due to a small water fall behind the cave in the last one. It was worth taking the effort to go up till there. We actually entered and experienced the cave from inside however one of the cave, which was small and fragile collapsed right behind us, be careful and don't risk.

Beautiful!

Took this hike with my very athletic son. He never broke a sweat, however I certainly did! Gorgeous views and quite a workout for me.

For being inside of Seattle this is a great place to spend your day.

Well maintained, light traffic, beautiful and not a huge commitment. I had trekking poles but didn’t hugely need them. No sign of bears, just an odd amount of slugs drying in the sun. Easy parking, free and no way to get lost.

Great hike for beginners and kids. Awesome overnighter as well. lots of camp spots with rock fire rings. Plenty of lake area to play in and the scenery is awesome.

Awesome hike. Waterfalls are a must see.

Easy hike, tons of places to take the kids to play in the water. Awesome waterfall. Definitely a must see!

Very easy trail. It had little elevation, but it was still a nice walk/hike. The lake is absolutely beautiful. Would do again.

This trail has it all! Hike through the woods, sandy bluffs, Meadow, or down by the beach. Spent my early afternoon here and it was lovely.

We did this hike on July 29th. This is an easy hike that our 3 year old can easily walk himself. Even though it’s a short hike, I still recommend bringing water. A great place to pack a picnic.

Totally too easy of a “hike” but very beautiful with the river and falls!

Fun hike! Not too difficult but enough uphill/roots/rocks to present a bit of a challenge (keep in mind, I moved here from one of those flat states in the middle, so you’re mileage may vary). It was a bit hazy today, due to wildfire smoke, but still a pretty spot! Hung out by the lake for a bit and only saw a few other people. Got to the trailhead about 10 and only four other cars in lot...lots more when I left at 1 (especially for a Monday, I thought).

Last four miles of the drive to the trailhead are on a gravel road...the road isn’t in bad shape but not fun if you already have to pee!

Beautiful hike. Well maintained "manicured" pathway that's friendly to visitors of all abilities including kids on strollers. Trail ends near the caves and many will go off the trail to get close at their own risk.

Didn't have 10 dollars for a day pass so I didn't get to experience nature.

Easy

Up, up, and up. It seemed to never end. I have done longer hikes with more of an elevation gain, but this one hits you very fast and strong. Someone else suggested poles, I agree and wished I had brought mine.

Lovely hike close to Seattle. Can be crowded.

The beginning of the hike is easier and runs along side a river. You’ll start to hear the waterfall as you hike deeper and start to gain a little elevation. There is a fabulous lookout point with benches to enjoy the view of the waterfall from afar. The hike becomes a slightly harder with lots of change in elevation towards the waterfall. There are no signs on the trail. We ended up at the upper falls spot first and then went back down towards the lower falls lookout afterwards. Gorgeous hike!!

Overall good family friendly hike, it is busy though.

Neat, short trail. Decent little hike. Very public-friendly. Prone to crowds. Amazing views. Was very rainy before the holiday this year, but still well-worth the hike. LOTS of dogs

Nice views but the flies are terrible right now and several parts are loose rock. Even though rated easy, should have brought hiking shoes!

Fun way to spend a hot day! Views from upper and lower falls are gorgeous!

My friend, who has just recently gotten into getting back into shape and I hiked this trail today. She is almost 60, and I am in my mid-sixties. We enjoyed many streams, tall trees, views of the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River, and just hanging out together. It is rated easy, and at our age and ability found it very doable but it’s still a workout. We went down to the lookout for the highest waterfall (lots of stairs and not all of them very even heights) and we are glad we did. Enjoyable day, even though it was in the 90’s by the time we were done, since there are virtually no places where the sun is beating down on you.

My favorite spot in the entire city. It’s the one place where you can feel like you are out of the city even though you are practically downtown.

The Loop Trail is actually only 2.8 miles around. Same distance as Greenlake but with some elevation here. This AllTrails route includes an extra detour down to the lighthouse and back up to rejoin the loop (there’s a south spur and a north spur that come down from the Loop so you go down one and back up the other to make this larger loop). Going down to the lighthouse is well worth the extra distance as the near-360 degree views of the sound are breathtaking. But for those who might not want to go that far, walking the standard Loop Trail through lush woods and grassy meadows offers plenty of beauty and tranquility for a city stroll.

Living in the neighborhood, I am lucky enough to enjoy evening walks after work on a daily basis. I’ve been doing it for a couple decades and never get tired of it. I doubt that I ever will.

Nice short hike, great view! Would do again!
