Parking lot fills up early on Woodside side, but lots of street parking. It is a climb from Woodside to Skyline, then a decent on the way back.

Great Hike. Saw two coyotes, elk and deer. Bathrooms were closed when I went due to the government shutdown. Hardly any trees on this hike but amazing views.

Enjoyable. Not super challenging. Went w Cece. Company was amazing, trail was lovely, but nothing particularly special. Occasions views were green and blue in the winter rains good. Frankly really difficult to identify where the trail was sometimes, so being a phone that will have service to track. AllTrails was helpful.

Did this on Jan 12, 2019. Beautiful views of ocean and also wildlife— lots of elk quite close by along the trail, and lots of birding opportunities. Incline is not too bad as well. Got to tomales point trailhead parking lot around 10:45 and the small parking lot was full but there’s grass area right next to it that is used as overflow. By the time we left (around 3:45), there were double the amount of cars.

Awesome trail with amazing views.

The most beautiful hike I’ve ever done!

Loved seeing the elk and pretty flat - my 9 year old was able to complete the hike!

Short but keep ur heart rate up!!!

Nice hike for those who want lots of wildlife and ocean scenery. Started before sunrise and by the time I was back the lot was very full. Recommend getting there early.

Nice place to smoke a joint. Also there is a sweet swing about halfway up in the grove of trees on the left

Beautiful hike for the whole family to enjoy.

Hey there! Anyone know if the trail is open? I went by today and the road was closed...

Thanks!

Really nice hike. Roads were closed due to snow when we visited so took the long way, but was worth it because of all the Mule deer that crossed the trail in front of us. Not recommended on a cloudy day, because then there is no view from the top.

Great hike, amazing views. Less traveled than many routes on Diablo. We had wind gusts up to 60 mph, which is unusual, but made it more adventurous. Would strongly recommend for someone who wants a decent workout in a relatively short hike.

Clear skies, very windy, great views of the Bay and the ocean. Some incline and some decline but plenty of gentle grade.

great views along the way, and great payoff at the waterfall along the beach. be careful on the climb down to the beach.

I love this trail. It has many interesting features. If you go while it’s misty it adds even another element of beauty. One of my local favorites for sure.

Great hike. It is neat to see the Elk herds. Worth the trip.

This hike is awesome. Great ocean views, lakes, forest, waterfalls. It is one of my favorite local hikes. Well worth the trip even though it’s pretty heavily trafficked.

This remains one of my favorite hikes in the Bay Area. I usually start at Pantoll Ranger Station, but on my most recent trip, I started at Stinson Beach and completed this in the opposite direction suggested: up Matt Davis and down Steep Ravine and Dipsea. The trail is a "best of" of hikes in the Bay Area in that you get a bit of everything: grassy fields with expansive views; redwoods; small streams amid forests of canyon oaks and eucalyptus; and, of course, Stinson Beach itself.

Very popular. Beautiful but lots of people.

Great walk. Somehow in hilly SF, there are a lot of flat nature hikes and walks. This one has more incline which is nice. I suggest walking there and back rather than walking the loop so you can enjoy the coastal breathtaking views instead of the road. We decided to not turnaround or take the loop and instead we kept walking to Baker Beach, then through the Presidio and finally into the Marina for lunch. It took about 2 hours 15 mins or 7 miles and my Fitbit recorded I burned 780 calories!

It was a blast and we were exhausted after, but I couldn’t believe all the fantastic views we had! After, we Lyfted back to our car, but we could have Scooted or Jump Biked because the ride was through the Presidio and neighborhood streets. Excellent trek!

Overcrowded. Overrated. And relatively boring most of the hike. A nice workout and a gorgeous wait in line at the top. This hike wouldn’t be so bad if not as many unprepared and rude people hiked it. Go extremely early if you want to enjoy yourself and the nature around you.
