Well maintained and clean trail with great views at the top. Wide variety of plants and fungi along the way. A pleasant dog that lives nearby decided to join us on the hike but they are not typically permitted as it is a state nature preserve.

We did this today and the views and hike were great. Only downfall was the ticks!! We sprayed boots, pants and socks and just pulled 20 baby size ticks off of the wife.

Great trail. Well marked and shade almost the whole way. Beautiful outlooks. You can see for miles at the top. My son and I really enjoyed ourselves this morning.

It is a beautiful place. You can see the falls with a much shorter hike though. (I have done both hikes.) If you go to the main entrance for Yahoo Falls there is a small parking lot and bathrooms. From this point it is only about 1/2 mile to the falls. You can cross over at the top of the falls (just don't take the path that says it goes to the arch) and take a trail down to the bottom of the falls. Very pretty area. There are steps going up if you cross over at the base of the falls...they are real "thigh-burners"...or go back up the path you came down. Makes for a nice, cooler, shorter, kid friendly, hike.

This trail gives a decent workout getting to the falls as most is uphill but not too bad of a climb. There are a lot of rocks on the first part of the trail but later gets better. The falls are nice when you get to the end you have to go back the same way you came in. Overall a nice hike.

This is probably my most favorite place to swim. Such a beautiful and majestic waterfall. It wasn't overly crowded either!

Warning - it's closed on Monday and Tuesday

Me and my wife took this trail with our 14 week old puppy and she loved it. It wasn’t too difficult but I could see where it would be after a heavy rain.

No words for this trail. Had an amazing time.

Perfect hike for myself and my 6 year old, we loved it! We did the whole loop and it was challenging enough without being too strenuous on him. My son was able to swim in the water near the falls which made the hike extra rewarding. Any other time of year it would be too cold though, we came in August.

It’s a nice little trail with some good views. Heavily trafficked with a great deal of trash around the falls. We hiked out as much trash as we could.

Nice view at the top but you will be ascending quite a bit.

Nice peaceful place! Brought my dog and she had a great time. Nicely marked trails and beautiful
scenery.

For old people it’s a little difficult but we loved it!

Hiked this trail back in June for my birthday. I took the metal steps down to where you can pick up the trail to hike along the creek or go on out to the Falls. I took the creek, it seemed less traveled and it gets tight and wet in spots. I actually got off the trail once for a bit but got back on with no problem(yes, a bit of an adrenaline rush). Went up to the Falls and cooled off, went on out to Yahoo Arch and out some of the old road Negro Creek Loop and then back but stayed on the trail that takes you across the top of the Falls. (This is part of a back country trail that hooks into the Sheltowee Trace Trail. You can also stay at Alum Ford Campground as well as the backcountry)

Very well marked! But at the end it can be hard to scale the last boulder! But once you get over it, it is amazing

This fantastic trail offers amazing views and interesting views of rock formations, I can wait to go back after the leaves change colors. Saw the biggest rattle snake I have ever seen after climbing up a set of rock stairs, at least 5 feet long. I would not recommend children under 8 on this trail as it gets very narrow with massive drop offs toward the end.

We thought this would be an easy going loop to finish up a nice weekend but the trails are super confusing. There is not that „one loop“ we ended up doing several loops and crossing paths we did before and had to take some trails twice. There are definitely nice views but the trail system seemed like a maze.

I’ve run this trail several times and would recommend it to anyone. The map above is misleading as it cuts off about have of the actual Otter Creek Trail. The whole loop comes out to around 8 miles. The terrain is mostly single-track, forested with occasional rocky areas. Easy enough to log some good mileage but hard enough to be interesting. I can usually run the entire loop in 80-90 minutes. Some turnoffs are easy to miss so it’s best to get a map at the entrance until you become more familiar with the park.

Beautiful! I forgot my hiking books and was abke to do this trail in sandals. W didn't see a waterfall. I'm not sure if we missed it or if that is a mistake in the description. Either way, it was an amazing hike with breathtaking views! We relaxed and did yoga at the top for quite some time, enjoying the mountainous scenery and sunshine!
I would like to remind folks that this is a nature preserve. You aren't allowed to bring your dogs so please don't! I love hiking with my doggie and there are loads of trails where dogs are allowed.

Beautiful scenery, not too difficult trails but just watch where stepping and would recommend taking a walking stick.

This trail was so much fun! It was a little challenging, but overall it was great! It also had some amazing views along the way

Very nice trail for my friend that has never hiked before

Combined with the Bridges To The Past Trail you can get a good 5 mile hike. Even though it was a very hot & muggy day, we enjoyed the area and history. Trails are in good shape. Don't wander off the trails too far unless it is one of the places they want to to go see.

Great time hiking. Beautiful views. I would definitely do it again.

We enjoyed hiking in Natural Bridge State Park. The Original Trail was a nice hike, easily done after dinner with 4 boys, ages 4-12. the views were amazing. There were very few others around when we took the after dinner hike on a Monday evening, however Tuesday afternoon there were lots of people around. It never fails that there's a few fools trying to become a statistic in front of your kids... That's unfortunate.

On Tuesday we hiked the longer way, crossed the Natural Bridge and on to Lover's Leap, then down Devil's Gulch. It was more great scenery. there was one section where we were walking on the edge for 50 feet, but not bad - just keep kids by the hand.

Easy hiking trail, beautiful waterfalls!! Huge rocks.

Lovely. Strenuous. Waterfall at the end is beautiful, especially late in the day.

Hiked with group of friends and all our kids. Great day hike with a nice waterfall at the end of loop. Would like to go back in winter and see the ice and snow on falls.

Great day hike trail with plenty of good overlooks into Cumberland Falls and the river. Kid friendly and beautiful waterfall at the end of the trail loop. We stop in here at least once a year.
