the tracks and petroglyphs were interesting to look at and the site had a really nice parking lot and bathroom. the trail itself was not clearly defined. it was a little tricky to find the dinosaur tracks and then even more difficult to find the petroglyphs. lots of crumbly rocks which made for bad footing while already positioned on the edge of a cliff. glad I did it, but wouldn't do it again.

awesome trail. felt more like exploring than going on a hike. be sure to cross over the railroad tracks to get to the hike. it is misleading because there is another trail that takes you along the tracks. takes you to a nice viewpoint, but not the arches. follow the green rectangles on the ground and you will find it easily.

Best hike in the park. If you see snow on the ground don’t do this hike without crampons or spikes. There wasn’t much up and downs. You need good footing and strong feet for this hike. I would highly suggest if you capable.

Easy hike but great with dogs. Stream was high given the weather last week which made it challenging to navigate crossings. With dogs we had to turn before the falls as we could traverse the rock face and the stream water was deep! Summer hike would be fantastic....lots of great pools to get refreshed!

This place was totally and completely out of my way, but it was so worth it once I got here. The entire hike is stunning. Very few people hiking here in the winter so it felt like I had the place to myself!

Fabulous hike. I really enjoyed it in the Winter. I did a Google Earth trail while I was here so if you want to check it out virtual like you can see it on my blog www.shaunasadventures.com or in Google Earth. I was grateful for whoever painted the green rectangles on the trail to Mark the path. Brilliant! Made it super easy to follow the trail. Definitely had to watch for ice. Normally I would put my crampons/Spikes on if a trail has ice, but it had more areas with no bare rock that it was easier to detour around the ice. Arches were magnificent! Loved it!

Okay, it is windy. But it is an easy trail with views for days. Really amazing - esp. at sunset!

Not great in winter - snow and ice makes it hard (and dangerous) to climb up and down the rock. Otherwise, amazing views! Short scramble up.

AMAZING! This is much more fun and spectacular than Delicate arch. Quiet trail, awesome views, and the arch is jaw dropping. Exploring around the arch makes your feel like a little kid! DO THIS HIKE! Again, MUCH better, in my opinion, than Delicate Arch.

Beautiful hike. Got very hot even at 9 am in July. But was well worth it.

This is a great little hike to an iconic arch in the Canyonlands experience. Parking is convenient but during the middle of the day the arch will be receiving many visitors as it is quite a tourist attraction. And if you're adventurous enough to rise early and catch the classic sunrise through the arch, you'll have plenty of photographers to keep you company. Happy hiking!

This is amazing! The bridge is massive! I could have spent all day exploring!

I did the rim trail part - easy and great views. January so some snow and ice but manageable. I tried hooking onto the mill creek trail but it was covered in ice and snow - okay to hike maybe. But no way I could run it.

Right off the main road, making it a very busy place. Still a great and easy landmark to visit!

This trail is definitely worth stopping for and would be a full five stars if the trail was better defined. The trail is hard to find but it’s pretty easy to make your own trail up to the dinosaur tracks and the petroglyphs. Both were amazing, although the descriptions for both are at the parking lot - be sure to read these! Very interesting.

This trail is wonderful. It’s a little challenging with some mildly steep rock to traverse before you get to a more flat path, but this just adds to the experience in my opinion. Both arches are pristine and Corona Arch is one of my favorite hikes I’ve done so far in Moab, if you’re looking for a place to go during the shutdown this is your hike! It took my group about two hours to complete this with plenty of stops for photos and sitting to enjoy the winter sun - this is definitely not crowded in the winter!

A great hike to see some arches during the shutdown

Great hike with lots to see - 2 Arches and a cool side canyon
Best views of Corona Arch were on the far side looking back
Hike had a short ladder and 2 cables to assist hikers over steeper sections of slick rock
Great for all ages

amazing!!! the views were unreal, the arches are impressive and breathtaking, and the hike was very fun.

not a super challenging hike- even in the snow and slush. crampons helped big time; those rocks are so slippery. slight up hill climb to get to the challenging parts with the ladder and metal rope, then pretty flat till you get to the arches.

maybe this trail is more dog friendly without snow but i’m still not sure how my lab managed to get up past the ladder area and the first initial climb with the metal rope. pretty terrifying to see him climb up and down, but he managed. wouldn’t have tried that had we known just how steep it was!

if you have a truly strong, adventurous, fit dog, or a dog you can carry, go ahead. otherwise, you’ll be turning back before seeing anything really cool.

I hiked through this canyon two weekends ago with my dog. It was SO awesome. We didn’t go all the way because my dog kept getting nervous and she was sliding on some of the rocks. I would probably bring some booties for her paws next time. There wasn’t any water to walk through which was a bonus(would’ve been so cold!) but it was so pretty and not overly crowded. I’ll be going back when the weather is warmer!

This was a fun hike, and perfect place to stop and lunch. Had a lot of fun hopping from rock to rock, until we landed on the "whale" . You can get a decent view of Upheaval Dome.

Magnificent views, was crowded when we went in Jan, but that might have been caused from the closure of Arches due to the Gov shutdown. Easyish hike, first part's the hardest, the. cruise till u see the arch. It has a ladder and a couple of steel cable guided spots to get under the arch.

Very pretty hike. Did it a few days ago and it was snowy and slippery!!! Have traction and watch footing past the first cable and after the cable ladder. Looks a little sketchy there in the ice and cold. Beautiful arches!

I hiked this trail five days ago before the snow hit Arches. It was lovely. I took primitive trail around to the dark angel and then back on the main trail. Definitely need to follow the cairns and keep an eye out for them but even with that the travel was pretty well marked. It was a moderately challenging walk, relatively flat with a few climbs here and there. Very enjoyable and nice way to see a lot of Arches.

This was an easy hike with a beautiful arch at the end. There was one small part that was very steep and we needed to hold onto the cable and one part with a short ladder.
We liked this better than Arches National Park!

We did this wonderful hike on a cold (25-38 degrees) but sunny day. It was all other hikers say— interesting and not too hard with cables and a ladder. Some other hikers we ran into thought it was challenging but worth it. We were very glad to have micro spikes. Others around us with boots or tennis shoes had a very hard time on the slippery rock.
The arch is beautiful; one resident said it was his favorite, even compared to the ones in Arches National Park. Go!

This trail is incredibly scenic the entire way. Part of the trail was more difficult with foot-holes and a rope and steep in some areas. Overall not a difficult route however! Did not take a long time to hike in which was nice.

I was wanting to go to Arches and hike up to delicate arch, but thanks to the government shutdown, I had to change my plans. Thankfully I found this trail that isn’t federally owned. It did not disappoint at all. Magnificent views. The arch was glorious!!

Great views, a few difficult spots for this Florida girl, definitely worth your time!

Was cold and windy, had the most people of any of the hikes I did. I took the primative trail from the back side and saw very few people was well worth the hike
