I hiked this trail starting around 10am before it got too hot. It was pretty steep and I had to stop and catch my breath a few times. There were a lot of people in the same boat. The view from the arch was well worth the hike.

So trail was fun, not very well defined itself but had enough cairns, signs, and reflective tape hidden in shrubs to make it doable (in the sunlight). Consider myself a somewhat experienced hiker and I lost the trail multiple times, especially at the ladder - turn around immediately! Wandered around the little valley there until I realized the trail continued right where you step down from the ladder. With all this said, make sure you check your directions. Don’t know if it was alltrails or google maps that messed up but I definitely shoulda double checked...originally had me driving up a 4 wheeling road at Onion Creek for 15 miles in my Jetta....did a decent amount before I turned around and just thought I wasn’t making it to the trailhead. When I got service again briefly I realized there was an actual Fisher Towers campsite and trailhead. Headed over and started almost two hours later than I wanted (with it only being 2.2 mi to the turnaround I thought I was ok), resulting in me being 1.75 miles out in pitch black before realizing my foolishness. Longest, scariest return even with a headlamp and a small flashlight. Moral: don’t trust computers and don’t overestimate your abilities. Still an exhilarating drive and a fun, mentally and physically challenging trail.

Lots of reward for one trail. Looking back I don’t know if I would have done the primitive portion unless you want the extra miles or just to say you did the whole loops. Still beautiful but nothin g you aren’t already exposed to on the earlier parts of the trail. Go early, got to the lot at 7:30 and while there was still parking had to sit around and wait for lots of inconsiderate groups standing around right in front of the arches. Took me 4 hours, being lots of water.

Very worthwhile walk to see delicate arch. It was super hot so wear a broad rimmed hat and bring plenty water. There are some shady areas under trees and rocks on the way up but it's 95% exposed. Terrain is varied and includes walking up a rock.... not a problem if it's dry. Great views at top. We took some time to enjoy view before returning down. We stopped by to see the petroglyphs.

Amazing

A easy trail to see three arches

Extremely beautiful and remarkable. Many archea and other interesting rocks. The landforms here are very unordinary.

Very beautiful. I saw stars here at night, but it's really hard to find the way in the dark.

A must see in arches and Moab. Take plenty of water. Very hot and busy with people all day long. The hustle and bustle of all the people almost makes it more exciting in this case though. Not as negative as when I see lots of people on other trails I do.

Totally worth it! Bring 2 liter of water with you in the hot summer.

a wonderful trail with incredible scenery I camped at the 5 site campsite using a hammock tent between the juniper trees. not to hot in July. important to take plenty of water as the red rocks and relative steepness can make it a thirsty hike. there is shade along the break and none slippy shoes are a must. they recommend 4 hours I did it comfortable ly in 3. stopping for views and snacks. the colours at sunset are gorgeous and in July I saw no one and started at. 430pm . there were 2 sites left when I arrived. 15$ a night. no showers but toilet is clean and picnic table and fire pit for every site. pay for spot first before u hike to ensure getting it. great views stayed twice.

Nice trail!

Easy hike for families. Some moderate climbing up to base of Arches- great for kids!

Delicate Arch was amazing to view and it was definitely worth the hike! Bring a lot of water and make sure you look at the other scenery on the way up and down. It’s breathtaking.

Definitely go as early as you can, the crowds are insane. Arrived at the park at 8am, left about 10:30. It’s a beautiful uphill climb to the arch, with little shade. At 8am in early August the heat wasn’t bad, but definitely bring water. There’s a line of people waiting to pose in the arch, so it’s near impossible to get a snap of it without some strangers, but still worth seeing.

Bring lots of water! I did it in the middle of the day in 100+ heat but it was definitely worth it. It’s either up or down.. you barely get flat land while on this trail. I did it in my Chacos and they were the perfect shoe for this hike. The scenery up the entire trail is beautiful. But there is little to no shade so don’t forget water!!’n

This short hike is more than worth it for the amazing view of the arch! The other views from the lower parking lot don’t even come close. There is a bit of climb that might be challenging if you aren’t physically fit and it can be very hot in the summer, but bring water and take your time. Totally worth view at the end!

Excellent hike! Trails were pretty well marked. We started at 8:00 and had good cloud cover for the first 3/4 of the trip. The last 1/4 was full sun and 87 degrees. Overall we had a great experience!

Very nice hike. Just be prepared with plenty of water as it gets hot out there.

I hiked this trail in October 2017, it didn't seem like it would be a tough hike since it was fairly short so I had to do it. It was a lot harder than I expected but that had more to do with the fact that I had surgery on both knees less than 5 months prior, had just stopped smoking about 8 months prior and it was the middle of the day. It took me over an hour to reach the top but it was well worth it. I might recommend doing it early in the morning, wear a hat, and take plenty of sunscreen and water, there is no shade.

Did the trail from Potash to Canyonland today, 7-25-18, and it was amazing. We drove a stock JK and had no problems at all. Be ready for the last few miles straight up a 1000 foot wall of rock before you get to the main road in Canyonland.

Go early! We got there at 7:00 am. Uphill to the arch but worth it! Bring water if you are going in summer.

hard to describe the beauty here once you make the climb and get close to the arch. go early as when we were walking out today at 815 am the was an army of people heading up.

You get to see a lot of great arches on this trail. Make sure to go the extra little trails to Navajo and Partion Arch - seems like some folks didn’t even notice the signs were there. The second half of the hike (the primitive portion) is definitely less crowded, but doesn’t have as many sites along the way. Only do it if you really want a longer hike, because it can get ridiculously hot towards the end.

superb morning hike. it's primarily west-facing and the shade is nice.

amazing! ❤️

Stunning views from all sides when you get to the arch. I have a bum knee and was still completely fine on this hike. Took us a little less than two hours round trip with a 30-40 min stop at the arch.

Absolutely gorgeous for sunrise.

so worth it!
