Some steep inclines on the final stretch but worth it. We did it with kids 3, 6 and 8, and they enjoyed the trail

We took our eight kids on this hike and had a great time. The kids loved playing hide and seek in the rock formations. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hike. Challenging, but a lot of fun. The view up top is worth the fierce incline on the way up.

Very neat hike, beautiful views the whole time!

Pretty middle hike, some stairs but other then my that smooth. Beautiful views, must so you can see both sides of the canyon at the same time!

I must miss the ponit of why this is exciting geologically speaking. There is so much nicer places to hike around there.

A nice view overlooking the canyons. Easy hike

A classic. If your expectations aren't too high, then it's worth it!

Probably the best hike (this and the loop in the north part with several arches). This is a clasic and a must-hike./walk

A nice little hike that includes all major arches. I suppose this is THE thing to do in arches NP. It wasn't always clear to me where the trail was, but nothing dramatic. There are a lot of people if you don't go too early, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Absolutely beautiful hike. My sister and I did this hike, ages 64 and 66. Parts of it are nice and easy and parts if it kicked our butts. While the Joint part of the loop had some difficult areas it was quite short and doable. It’s tough coming back as it feels like it will never end. One of our most beautiful and most strenuous hikes.

This was a good, well trafficked hike. We completed this hike in early August and it was very hot. Make sure to bring plenty of water.

We enjoyed this trail. Wonderful view at the end and a distant petroglyph in the middle.

More moderate than hard - I’m carrying a fair bit of excess baggage and found this walk ok - defo 5 stars

Nice relaxing hike to the falls. Stayed cool the entire time, falls were beautiful. Not as pretty now that all the leaves have fallen from the trees.

Absolutely amazing views from the arch! Take plenty of water. It was cloudy and 55 degrees and I still went through two bottles. I went early in the morning and was at the arch by 9. There were tons of people heading up on my way back down, so I recommend going early. Well worth the hike. This one is a must do!

Great easy hike for the family.
Deer In the valley and fish in the creek!
Great color on the walls with the afternoon sun.

Hiked on 11/3/18. This was an amazing trail that was 6.5 miles according to my girlfriend’s Garmin watch. It took us right under 3 hours while taking breaks at the nature guide spots. (Nature guide is found in brown sign in box 10/10 recommended picking one up as it points out many cool things). This hike was beautiful the entire way and had to stop many times just to take in the view. It was a very comfortable hike -warm in the sun, cool and refreshing in the shade (which there was a lot of). This all sand trail was easy to walk and came to a beautiful waterfall. Walk to the far right side of the waterfall to gaze at the hanging gardens, if you look closely you can see where the water is seeping from the rocks/ hanging gardens.

While in this region we combined Devils Garden (down Hole in the Rock Road - just drive down the road and can explore Devils Garden for as long as you want - we took 30 minutes there), and Grosvenor Arch (in Cannonville which is on the way to Calf Creek if coming from Kanab. Took 30 minutes to drive to off of the main road and 25 to explore - you can drive up to it)

The most amazing place we visited at arches. It's awe-inspiring to be nestled under the huge double arches. There's some not-too-steep rock climbing that our kids loved.

We went with our young kids in 65-70 degree weather. Perfect! The trail is awesome, with some parts like they were lifted from the set of an old western. Before going, we had our kids practice walking single file along an imaginary cliff edge. I'm glad we did for the last stretch by the drop off, because our usually rambunctious kids were well-behaved. The arch is amazing to see, but it's not the most kid-friendly point with drop offs all around. We stayed for about two minutes then turned back.

We went at sunset, and that might be overrated. I'm not sure it was different than any other time of day.

Beautiful and diverse scenery. Highly recommend for the adventurous traveler!

A rather easy hike to a very nice waterfall. There is also some Anasazi artwork along the way if you look out for it. There is a $5 fee to hike the trail, but it is worth the price. Good food can be found in nearby Boulder!

Moderate at most for avid hikers. Could be difficult at times for weekend hikers. Don’t let the difficult rating deter you. There are only a couple spots where you have to either climb or descend some slightly slippery rock faces. I did it counter clock wise in tennis shoes in about 2.5 hours. I wouldn’t say one direction is easier than the other. Beautiful and rewarding views!

Group of fairly fit 60-somethings made it up no problem. Great scenery on the way as well as the top. Lots of friendly weekend folks. Just one of multiple trails in Arches Nat’l Park.

We hiked this after a long car ride to the park looking to stretch our legs but not a long hike , this trail was perfect for that beautiful canyon and arch is very cool

Nice, moderate hike with huge pay-off. This is one of the most popular hikes in the park, but the trail is generally so wide that it didn’t really feel crowded until we got up to the area around there arch. Even then, we were all able to get solo pictures with the arch without much waiting. Went in the fall right at golden hour, the lighting was beautiful and the arch is really special.

Definitely a challenging hike! We did it clockwise - the first half (up to the double O arch) was well-marked, well-traveled, and not too tough. The second half, the primitive trail, had some very, very challenging parts, mainly a tiny ledge with sketchy hand holds. A LOT of people turned back there. Just know it exists, and be ready for it. There are no major arches on the primitive trail, but the winding canyon is really beautiful; it was worth doing for us (ages 62, 53, 26, 24). Pack in a lot of water - I packed in 2 liters on a fairly cold day and I was shocked I went through all of it.

perfect day for a perfect hike!!!!

Hiked with my 9 months old on my back and 6 years old boy last weekend . Awesome...
