So many trails for mountain biking! I love this area, and it is truly a mountain bikers playground.

Lovely, well maintained trail easy enough for all levels including beginners. It follows a river. If the lovely couple who graciously loaned me her shoes and his socks because I left my boots at home see this, please contact me so I can return your things. You took down my number but would not give me yours. You live in the Olalla area. I am an honest person and want to return your boots and socks.

My husband, dog and I enjoyed this trail today. A few cars at the trail head when we arrived at 11:00. Beautiful walk through the woods, high above the river for most of the way. There are two bridges crossing the river, at the second one you're able to get down to the river and there's a nice spot to enjoy lunch and for the dog to swim. We didn't go all the way to the Notch Pass junction, but I think it's just a few minutes beyond the second bridge. More people coming up the trail when we headed down, and most of them had dogs. Very enjoyable, not difficult, day hike!

Pretty stroll to take with the toddler!

Beautiful walking trails. We went on a crisp sunny autumn day and it really was idyllic! The entrance is steep and parking can be tricky but totally worth it! We brought our dogs and three young children. The pathway is muddy so wear appropriate shoes.

We were able to see a few remains of the town!

Not much of a ghost town, but the hike was pretty easy. Option to go short or long distance.

My dog & I had a fabulous hike! Definitely going to hike here again.

Great hike, easy out and back, river was beautiful

If your looking to bike this is the place to go! For a hike not so much. Pretty much all biking trails, and you feel in the way. Not kid friendly! Almost got my child run over!

I haven't ridden this trail in 25 years, and that was on an aluminum, front-suspension only bike. fast forward to today - outstanding trail maintenance and a serious bike upgrade for me had me remebering some great times out here and smiling the whole way - even during the climb. In true NW style, someone was handing out raindogs (Rainier beer

Took the kids, ages 10, 8, and 6, and they had a great time. Good views of the Carbon River. We did spot some ruins of some buildings and what looked like a 58-59 Desoto that had run off the road many moons ago. We climbed down at the Fairfax bridge and followed the river down a couple of miles. Beautiful hike.

Its an easy-to-moderately difficult trail but not too long !AT 1st Review on All Trails: 3.5miles, so even the non-hiker can complete it. Just take your time. No viewpoints except at the very top of the climb where you can see views of rattlesnake lake and also looking north you can see Mount Si and the middle fork of the Snoqualmie River. Still - close by, worth a shot to give you some new views.

I live close to this state park and love hiking it any chance I get. Lots of different paths to take to mix it up!

Easy trail, but nothing special.

Great trail, lots of switch backs, beautiful surroundings with the blanket of ferns amongst majestic trees. The view of the city and bay from the west side is stunning and there’s also a view of Mt. Baker on the southeast side. We will return

Great place to ride mountain bikes with pretty shaded areas in trails on hot day and some cool bridges to cross.

Hiked to Mystic lake via Carbon glacier via Moraine park from the Carbon river trail head.
This hike is about 31 miles. Only about 5k ft of elevation climbing, but mostly on the 2nd half of the outward hike.

Some amazing views, even with all the clouds. You get to see a lot of marmots on the meadows, tiny toads no bigger than your thumb nail, frogs, bats, birds. A lot of different types of wildlife.

Crossing the Carbon river on the log bridge, with the fast moving water flowing beneath you is amazing I feel. Crossing it coming back in the pitch black darkness just with a head light, I felt slightly different, I was sure to keep a steady footing.

A very long day for me, I'm not the fastest hiker but I can go for a long time.

What a day. The best.

Ran a half marathon on this trail this weekend. Beautiful trial with LOTS of rolling hills. Be aware this trail is used by bikers and horses.

Lovely hike--tough finding the trail to the Butte as it is just near the Boxely Creek bridge and rather narrow but the best part is that it is in the forest and there was no one on it once we got off the gravel road. The view is not as nice as Rattlesnake but it was worth it to skip the crowds.

Beautiful trails with moss covered trees. The trails are labeled really well so you can shorten and extend you hike through the park easily. Definitely going back!
