Missouri Trails Map

This is great trail to get lost on and people are scarce. If you don't like the challenge of getting lost bring a GPS. The elevation doesn't change by that much and the scenery is actually quite nice. During my hike it rained and made everything green up, however there were lots of spider webs. I believe this would be a great place to visit during Autumn or Winter, especially if you live on the north side of Springfield.

Easy, clean, and peaceful.

Paved trail with much of it in shade. I really enjoyed the Dewey Short Visitor Center by the dam. I parked at Showboat Branson Belle parking lot and walked toward the dam. .8 miles then back. I also went the other direction toward another state park area which is also .8 miles. This trail is in sections with many benches to sit and enjoy the view. I use the restrooms at showboat park area but there are outhouse type restrooms at each of the Missouri state park areas. I love this trail and will do the entire beautiful walk He next time I am in town.

Easy single track trail system, very well maintain and excellent for trail running. Nice fellows out there!

Awesome trail! I did nearly all sections and well marked. Connections can be a little tricky but will this app I had no problems.

Decent trail that was easy to follow and nice scenery. Biggest set back was the numerous ticks and horseflies we encountered. We had sprayed beforehand with tick defense bug spray but still pulled or brushed off over 50 ticks between the two of us

great trail. a little of everything from up hill down hill. very rocky in places

Great place to hike and have kids and dogs swim in the crystal clear water.

Quick out and back walk to look at a waterfall that consists of rocks 1.5 billion years old. That’s old!

Great trail for the whole family!

Cool breeze coming off the lake while we walked on the paved trail. Very easy .

Beautiful and well maintained trail. Access from 6 am to 10 pm. Very enjoyable!

I’m partial to this trail as I live about 6 miles from it. It’s mostly flat and is well kept. Great for jogging, walking or biking.

Trail was great for hiking giving nice views from the ridge line. Gave some good elevation change if you’re wanting to push yourself. The shooting range, located at the entrance to the trailhead, was a bit jarring and not so serene. Since it was a loop, we knew we were almost done with the trail when we heard the sounds of war.

Nice paved easy trail.

hiked this trail for the first time several weeks ago, loved it, it was a great trail to use to get back into hiking, not really sure which paths we ended up doing but put in almost 6 miles

so glad we found this trail was worth the walk

Awesome trail with amazing scenery. My son and I were lost somewhere around 4 hours, because the trails are not clearly marked however it was enjoyable and peaceful. My son used Google Earth to find our way out.

Great scenery but the trails were VERY POORLY marked. I got lost for a while. I saw a lot of wild life! Went home with lots of little ticks. Probably wouldn’t recommend.

A very easy all paved trail from the Table Rock lake dam to the state park marina. 4.4 miles round trip. It has several access points to the lake and lots of places to stop and rest or reflect along the way. Hikers of all levels will enjoy this easy route.

This riverside trail is very busy so it’s best walked early in the morning or after a rain. The first third is paved and my son enjoyed the animal track impressions in the pavement with signs that identified the animal making the tracks. The highlights include several Three-Toed Box Turtles crossing the trail and a possible Great Horned Owl that we spooked from its perch.

Very nice trail, although heavily populated in areas. Be aware if you take this trail, there are multiple runners, walkers, and bikers that use this along with families.

Extremely clean, was out all day and saw one piece of trash. The trails are beautiful and vary in difficulty. There's a great waterfall on the blue loop. Loved this trail and will definitely return.

Nice area. Pretty fascinating when you look at it from
above. You park where it is. Not exactly a Wilderness Area, but a nice easy approach like this is nice at times and for some people.

We love to take our pups out here and let them play in the creeks! It’s never been too crowded, moderately easy trail!

What we saw was nice but only had about 30 minutes. Found an old cemetery at the top of a hill. Pretty spring flowers, butterflies and the first bumblebee of the season.

nice place.

We hiked around but not on a specific trail. Beautiful area.

Well marked trail. We saw about 10+ other people while we were out there, so it's moderately trafficked in my opinion. However, the spring was very pretty and worth it.
