Amazing hike leading to a beach. The parking lot was closed so we had to park almost 2 miles away from the trailhead. But it was all worth it.

Beautiful diverse hike but the trail was overcrowded and unfortunately not all fellow hikers were following social distancing protocols.

Is the trail back open?

The best trail I’ve hiked in a while!! The redwoods and the creek are so calming and beautiful! A good amount of stairs so be ready for that workout! The views are always worth it though.

One of the best hikes, has a little bit of everything. Beautiful views of the ocean, walking through the red woods, and water falls.

Overall probably once of the best hikes I have been on. Did this trail in addition to Muir Woods/ Dipsea Trail. Trail offers beach views and an amazing dense forest hike. Take the trail clockwise. The views going upstream are better than that coming down, not that there really is any bad views. On top of that if you go counter clockwise the stairs are significantly harder to do.

So beautiful and fun!!

Measured 7.5 miles. Parked at the post office down the road most parking is closed. Great hike with a good view of the coast !

An easy trail with pathway. Beautiful tall trees and a creek.

Came here Sunday 3/15. (It was closed later that day or the next due to the coronavirus so we were lucky to be able to visit.) We enjoyed this trail. It provided us a nice little workout with stunning surroundings. Even with a little rain it was still beautiful. Not crowded once you're out if the wood plank walkways closer to the visitor center. You must have reservations for parking - we saw them turn people away at the gate without them. Lovely place.

parking lot currently closed due to coronavirus

Loved it! So beautiful! If yuh get the chance, check it out for sure! Very easy but gorgeous.

Parking reservation required. Beautiful trail overall. Parked at the Muir Woods entrance and set off for the hike. Bathrooms and water at the beginning. I didn’t think the markings were that great and I’m not smart enough to figure out the loop portion, so I did this as an out and back. Hiked from the Muir Woods entrance following signs for the trail and got to an outdoor amphitheater. Turned around and just backtracked back to my car. 7.6 miles in all, beautiful scenery.

Very beautiful . Good worked out . Lost of shade, water falls, birds, flowers , giants rocks.

Beautiful today. Sunny with a light breeze

Wonderful trail with great environmental heritage to John Muir, Kent, Teddy Roosevelt and FDR. The gratitude and homage to these giants of men is reason enough for the hike. We went on an off day and had very few people (comparatively).

Easy trail with rewarding view at the end. The cove is beautiful and not crowded. Recommend going to the vista point, which is a 800 foot climb - the most strenuous portion of the whole trail. Majestic views!

The trail was nice took 2.5 hour

Good. Easy hike. Not upto the hype. This is just another hike in the woods. There are some long redwood trees. But, this ain’t anything special!
