Easy trail, can go down around the falls beautiful hike

Very nice trail. Quite a bit of diversity in scenery for being in the northwoods. Would recommend doing this hike.

This trail has nice views. However it is posted that dogs aren’t allowed. We brought dogs with the intention of walking the trail with them

Really great, easy hike through the woods. Beautiful all the way through and the views of Superior at the end are amazing! Perfect for a quick trek.

Beautiful view but the trails split often and were not marked. We ended up on a trail that brought us back to the path we can in on.

Easy trail to very nice waterfalls. They were constructing a staircase to the bottom of the falls when we were there (8/29/18).

nice views

Easy trail - slight hill down to the top of the falls. Unfortunately, they are currently rebuilding the stairs to the bottom of the falls and have the stairs and west loop of the trial closed (August 2018). Looking forward to seeing it in the spring when the water is flowing harder.

Beautiful waterfall!

Pros. Everything you love and nature time.

First part follows the bluff and has Unique rooted paths. First third is the most scenic and challenging. Second third is just a nice stroll in the woods. Last third he’s just a walk up the road back to the vehicle.

An easy trail. Be cautious with young kids along bluff side. Well worn trailhead. No blazes. Ran into a couple who claimed we were hiking on private land but we followed exact route on app, so this was somewhat confusing. Pretty forest and bluff views. Trail surface dirt lots of roots along bluff edge.

awesome trail, heavy to moderate traffic on 1 mile loop less so on 2.5 mile. go during a nice SWish wind and bugs are no issue.

Not a bad trail but definitely had to pay attention otherwise you could get lost.

Nice easy hike. Our small dog made the whole trip from the campground up to the 5th falls with no problem. Some steep spots that were muddy and slick. The trail by the upper falls gets very close to the edge in some areas, so it can get a little scary if you're not into heights. Definitely watch your kids if you go to the upper falls! Overall a great hike!

The walk is very easy here, you can even walk up the waterfall if it is shallow enough. One of my favorite waterfalls!

red trail backwards with detour from 3rd beach to 2nd beach.

Stumbled acrossed the falls on our way back from a trip to cadott wi. Was prefect spot to get out and stretch our legs was easy walk nice trail really enjoyed it. When we got to the tallest falls there was a family there that told us they just watched some kayakers go over the falls their boys were real excited about that would have been cool to see. Here this week going to stop again on our way back to cadott and try and find some others to stop at on way back.

Great trail, easy walk for the kids with a few hills. Views of the lake were excellent.

I hiked this trail with my sister, and we agree that the trail is not well marked. We started from the trailhead at the parking lot along the shore of the bay and then moved away from the shore into the woods. We looped around and came upon a road that looked like access road for county maintenance. We didn’t see a trail so we turned back and back-tracked to the car. As we were driving out, we realized that we should’ve followed the access road back to the parking lot. We added some time and distance to the hike but we both enjoyed it! We would do this again.

One of the best trails in NHAL.

Trail in good shape! River down so can soak feet. Few bugs.

Another trail close to home where I can go spend some time to get away from work and busy home life. Beautiful lake views almost the entire way. Great for kids! I like to take my time and enjoy this one.

We took the Clark Lake spur to see pink lady slippers in mud-June. Gorgeous trails. We were all alone. Green trail return to Nature Center.

Really nice trail. Was looking for a hike on the shorter side of the scale and this was perfect. The trail is laced with tall pines, birch and other old growth trees. You’ll cross a few beautiful board walks with ferns, moss and flowers on either side. Best part is the trail that hugs the crystal clear lake for most of the hike. Definitely need bug spray this time of year.

Easy trail for the family. My 3 year old ended up on my shoulders for half the trip but my 5 yr old had no problem. Lots of good little stopping points.
