it's not marked greatly and also very labirinth alike.i can say mountain bikers enjoy it

Nice hike to hidden swimming lake.

I highly reccomend taking the "harder" section of this trail, there are many jump areas to go on including rigerous uphills followed by flowing downhills

So many bikers but it is July 4th so I guess a crowd at the parks is to be expected. Be cautious as you hike, as there are a few narrow and winding sections of trail. Sorry to the guy that fell off his bike as he stopped to avoid hitting me! Most bikers were nice enough to say how many were behind them.

Went on the White trail. Nice wooded trail with some little climbs and descents with lots of roots. I took my 8 year old son and he handled it well but at slow speeds. It would be fun to do this fast. Make sure to bring bug spray-we got eaten alive!

Beautiful walk or run with lots of bird noises and perfect temperatures under the shade near the water.

Beautiful!

It is a good distance, and easy. It’s a good practice trail, or just a relaxing one.
Watch out for bikers!

White trail was great. Nice elevation changes. We will definitely be back for the orange trail soon. If ticks are a concern for you, this is a great trail because its all woods...we got thhru without a single hitchhiker!

Impressive little wooded trail. I expected it to run alongside the road but didn't. Saw a couple deer & plenty of squirrel. The lake views are nice at sunset with plenty of beach and overlook areas, if you choose to stop. The latter part of the trail seems to be used less... but never really encountered much activity when I've been there. Pines, lakes, hardwoods, a little more fun terrain at the end. Nice loop.

Orange Trail was awesome! Lots of wildlife, very quiet. Hard to believe you’re in metro Detroit at times. Highly suggested.

Well-maintained sandy trail, narrow at times with a few hills sprinkled in! A lot of mountain bikers, who are courteous and some you can run into a few times due to the nature of the course, and a few like-minded hikers and runners. Make sure you walk against the bikers for safety reasons.

Fun hike! Woodsier than Kensington trails

I took my engagement photos here in late August of 2016 and loved it

I just got into riding mountain bikes. This is my first trail and it was really nice and well groomed. I plan to hit many more trials and will be coming back to this one soon!

Great for running, but could be better marked.

The orange loop was great, very beautiful!

Excellent trail system right in my own backyard. Love the orange loop, especially. Layout is perfect for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing. The paddling is incredible here too.

Great trail. Loop 1-6 was 3.5 miles. Mostly snow covered, some areas were muddy.

Nice single track, decent elevation and little traffic. Many loops to accumulate miles.

It is dog friendly. Great trail to get away from the city without driving too far.

nice trail for running. lots of lake virtues and not too many hills. really pretty in the fall. ran on a Saturday at 1:00 PM and only saw a few people.

will be back for more fun.

One of my favorite trails near metro Detroit. Lakes and elevation changes make for an interesting hike.

Beautiful trail with multiple lake views and elevation changes!!

Great hike. Limited markers but it was easy enough to follow the trail. There were a lot of bikers, especially compared to other trails I’ve hiked (could be related to the time of day though). The trail is quite narrow in some spots which could make it difficult as a hiker to let the bikers pass. Featured some benches along the way.

A beautiful trail - fantastic autumn colors. I love most of this trail (some of it along East Grand River Rd. isn't that awesome) - one of the prettiest hiking trails in SE Michigan. There are many bikes, I think 7 passed me. All but one were very polite and gave me plenty of warning that they were approaching. A couple don't miss spots: near mile 1, take the dirt path that runs closer to the river, and, after crossing the Huron the 2nd time and turning away from Kensington Rd, take the short side path into the pine grove, great place to take a break and have a snack (both are marked on the track I uploaded). The woods are pretty and river views are wonderful.

Ok single wide trail, some freeway noise on the back side. it has quite a few wood planks over muddy spots but sadly is not maintained well, with lots of fallen trees over the path. (planks got it 3 stars but not 2 - trees over path got it 3 stars but not 4)
