I have always enjoyed this trail. A nice hike up along a creek between Dorr Mountain and Cadillac Mountain. You eventually come to and intersection where you can continue down the back side of the gorge Via the A Murray Young path or you can summit Door or Cadillac mountains. Nice trail to hike after there has been some rain so the creek is flowing.

Steep assent with lots of stone steps and a few iron ladders. Nice views along most of the trail.

great trail. there is a cave tunnel on the ledge facing craigs pond on the ledge if your on top of the summit and you look down towards the trail you come up on it is the ledge next to it on the left there is a wooden bence and it is in front of it slightly to the left look for the crack in the ledge you can shimmy down into it and walk threw a tunnel about 20 feet and come out the other side of the tunnel

As of recent with all the rain a lot of the trail at the bottom side of the falls is all flooded out so you cant walk very far. But still very enjoyable to go and check the falls out!

tougher than moderate in my book. was very wet with leaves made it more challenging.

Long, flat trail through Scarborough Marsh. Nice place to picnic and walk the dogs.

The trail is incredible but I would not advise for the winter. We did this trail on a cold day and the day before it rained. In many places had ice which made the path slippery. Even with the metal ladders I do not consider it a difficult trail but it requires care and a little effort.

Nice and easy quick hike! Very fast in and out, and it wasn’t too busy. (Thoigh it was completely dogged in when I went so that may be why)

I went up the north ridge and down the south (no roads go near the south trail down, and you can catch a shuttle). Actually went up and down barefoot, and still did it all in under four hours. If you’re in half decent shape it’s a breeze.

On the way up cars pass very close by several times but that didn’t stop a deer from running across the trail! It’s really crowded on top, and as you get nearer there are lots of people who walked on from the road. It’s a bit lame, but not enough to take away from the hike and views.

I highly recommend going down the south side rather than doubling back. The scenery changes, I passed less than 5 people (and about 20+on north ridge), and it goes straight into one of the campgrounds.

Beautiful hike. Great views in the way up. the summit was surrounded by tree unfortunantly. But very worth the hike for all the views!

Beautiful hike! was a little rough in places, but had a lot of beautiful stops to rest my legs in the way up. followed the blue markings and a beautiful stream. had to be careful because of the leaves and rocks were a tad slippery. amazing view at the end, very much worth the hike. ended up watching the sunset later on. amazing views!

Fun trail fairly easy with some steeper hills. Lots of roots and unsteady ground. Beautiful views. Great little ferry homes kids and grown ups created all along the path.

Very nice, clean trail. Pretty level train, nice overlooks into the marshes. No charge to park but on a busy day, I imagine there would be a wait to park!

Amazing panoramic views of the bay.

Great trail, started at the beehive, took the bowl to Gorham Mtn trail ended on beach trail back to beehive trailhead. 3.6 mi loop. Very few hikers this time of year. Was perfect day to hike.

my favorite of all the trails to the fire tower. Best views especially after the leaves fall. Well marked and reasonably dry 2 days after heavy rains

We underestimated the difficulty of this trail. Going counter clockwise there was a very steep section with what could be best described as a cliff to one side. We had our 5 and 7 year old and a dog. It was steep enough, wet enough, and coverred with enough leaves that we considered turning back, but after scouting ahead a bit, it seemed it was safer going forward than turning back.

After that sketchy section, it turned into a wonderful hike with views on both sides of the ridge.

We'll probably do it again when the boys are older, but we'll do it when it's dry and we'll do it before the leaves start falling.

Super easy hike. Did this with my daughter and puppy. Great views and easily done in an afternoon.

This was a great fall hike. I took the yellow trail up and wasn’t sure which trail I’d take down. The yellow trail is VERY hard to follow in quite a few places. This seemed to be the consensus as I said hello to other hikers as well. It’s gorgeous in the woods on this trail, so if you take your time and pay attention I would still recommend it. Because of this, I took the blue trail down, and was glad I did because this offered some variety and was a fun challenging way back down. Overall would highly recommend it. Beautiful, challenging, and great way to spend the day.

Great path ! Took my friend and me around 1h9m. We did stop at the overlooks and take pics . Our average pace was about 18 -20 min/mile - so it could be completed in around 40 minutes! A few things about the trail ; very very rooty! Also it had down poured yesterday and a lot of the trail was still mucky. Neither of these are cons - just information I would personally have liked to know before I hiked so I thought I would share.

Great walk, lots of birds in the Marshes.

Great hike, went with my husband and one year old son (he was in a backpack carrier). Great views, wasn’t too long, and quiet.

Hiked the Beehive trail and connected to the bowl to make a big loop. Beautiful, crystal clear lake. You'll want to bring something to swim in!

Did this trail in the evening when it was extremely foggy, I'm sure there would have been great views if it wasn't for the fog. A great trail otherwise, wild blueberry bushes are everywhere. You are following blue arrows painted on the rock

Ring trail still in good shape late October; rocks, roots, & mud appear to be the reason for the moderate rating. 2 mile trail at an easy pace, just over an hour.

So beautiful.

Great hike up to enjoy the fall colors. Went up eye brow and down the AT, eyebrow wasn’t a must do and wouldn’t be a good trail to descend. Clear day up top on the fire tower, views were stellar- snow on top made it even better. Took longer than expected due to icy conditions but beautiful hike, another great 4ker.

Great trails and very clean! ☆☆☆☆☆
