Absolutely breathtaking cliffs with a green backdrop. As you continue walking, it levels out so you can go on the beach. Which was a pleasant surprise. I took a dip. Loved everything about this spot. Small parking lot. No charge. Did see a car with a busted window though - just a reminder to not leave any gear exposed in your car. This goes for everywhere though.

It is an easy hike and very relaxing if you take the southern side, since the northern side is washed out in some areas.

Been doing it for years. love it!

Very enjoyable 2+ mile hike with great views of the ocean from the bluffs and then dropping down onto the beach at Ditch Plains. Take the turnoff and head up to the WWII bunker.....it’s creepy.

The trail was a nice hike with beautiful views on the bluffs. Well marked and maintained.

Nice little trail. The vegetation is low for about half of the trail, letting you see out towards the ocean. The rest of the trail is walled in by high bushes. The section along the bluff is nice. Trail is wide enough that there's little problem with brushing up against plants, which can cause issues during tick season.

Very nice trail for a hike or bike ride. Only grip is it's a little short. Rode my bike and did all of the connected trails it only took an hour. The bluffs over looking the water are beautiful and one of the two bunkers are open if you look carefully. Not that I would know, but it seems like it would have a great view from the roof that may or may not be accessible from a ladder on the inside.

If you enjoy hiking near the beach, then this is the trail for you. It can get muddy quickly, but the views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean are as good as it gets. It's only about a 10 minute hike until you get to the bluffs overlooking the water and then it's really up to you how far you want to go. I suggest taking the Roosevelt Run for the best scenic views!

Been walking this path my whole life. Signal light at the end of the beach. Such a pristine beach. I only wish it was cheaper to park. Definitely get a green key if you plan on coming often.

Awesome views.

Great place for a easy hike (Id consider it more a walk). Fairly well maintained trails, not much elevation change, and great views out to the ocean. Overlooks ditch plains. There are also 2 old bunker installations along the trails. Just be careful by the bluffs, they are severely eroding.

I hiked this trail in late October. It wasn't busy at all. There are cool bunker to look at. And when the trail opens up to the ocean it is just so pretty. The views were great.

This was a great trail. Great bluffs and historical bldgs along the trail. This is a must see trail. Very quiet and peaceful and runs along the ocean.

Very easy trail that leads to stunning ocean views. I was there in the middle of the day at the height of tourist season and had whole chunks of the trail and overlooks to myself. Loved the tranquility and escape from the crowds.

The sound of the surf while hiking is a totally different experience. Loved the cliffs and the bunkers, too.

This is the very eastern most point of Long Island. The big waves rolling in are exciting.

This is not a hike. It's a bike or car ride, or a walk or run. There's a 5 mile in and out road. A pavilion, grills, beach. Lots of waterfowl, deer, turtles, osprey... I whole lot of stuff with easy access for families. Unfortunately the park got hit hard by Sandy. It just opened up again today. Lots of cedar trees and pine got burned up as well as lots of flood damage that has been cleaned up. Great spot for easy access fun

Good family oriented park. Easy walk. Beachfront & dunes. Good break from swimming. Can be crowded.
