I’ve lived in La Habra all my life. This hike is mellow and a great conversation hike or even an opportunity to get away solo. Drive slow on entry, some potholes are treacherous for smaller cars. Otherwise you’re good to go.

Excellent set of trails. I spent about 2 hours hiking the various trails, and could have easily spent longer.

good hiking trail for all level.

It was beautiful but it was overcast most of the time. Can’t imagine how awesome it must be on a clear day. Started at 10am and only 2 cars were in the parking lot. Didn’t see anyone until inspiration point. Great day

Was a beautiful day and a good hike, saw a hawk, road runner, coyote and a squirrel.

nice trail

Very pretty but not very hard

My favorite trail.

Beautiful Trail, we lived it!

I liked the trail. Surprised to see lots of trees coz some photos or comments said hardly any. Didn’t see many dog poop although some hikers have dogs. Saw horse poop here and there. I liked that there’s a bathroom at the tiny equestrian center. A real bathroom not a portable potty. Things I didn’t like are big potholes going up to the parking lot, very small parking lot, no trail maps, lack of post/signs in the trail and having to park on the side of the road coz the parking lot is so small.

Not too bad. A lot of people on this trail. But people on the trail are very friendly.

Awesome Trail.. loved watching the Horses train.. it was an unexpected surprise. Lots of happy hikers on this trail. Will be back sooon!

I've walked/hiked this loop trail a few times but prefer mountain biking it. This was my "go to" mountain biking course for a couple of years.

Not necessarily a hike but peaceful

I started my trail off of Fullerton Rd. You can start at Schabarum but FYI you have to pay but funds help the park. Enjoyed my hike overall as the trail was very clean, pretty wide, which makes it child and dog friendly, not overcrowded and had beautiful views of the San Gabriel Valley. My only concern was that some of the trails were not marked so there were moments that I was unsure if I was going in the direction I needed to.

nice little hike from Fullerton Rd to schabarum park and back would of gave it 5 stars if the bathrooms weren't locked at schabarum park! but all in all a very enjoyable hike on a beautiful day.some steep parts, but the view and the solitude make it worth the climb

A well balanced trail that is not very steep. The trail has short rocky areas you will need to climb. Fantastic views and nice rock formations along the way. Get there early as parking is limited.

A nice long loop especially considering the urban area. The trail was mostly flat and almost completely dirt. People walking their dogs, people watering their yards, people out for a nice hike with their families, overall a very pleasant walk.

Awesome trail to run. Visiting rhe area and was looking for a good place to get an hour run in and the place was awesome highly recommend it.

This trail needs to be closed to mtn bikes
Riders are not staying on the trail causing bad erosion
Riders are not yielding right of way to pedestrians or equestrians
Save the arroyo Ban the bike

Nice views a lot of eucalyptus trees nice aroma hill with different trails

Well maintained relatively easy trail for walking and running!!

Good hike, easy to follow

great hike with lots of views!

This was my first time to Angeles Forest and enjoyed this hike very much. From trail head to Little Jimmy was only about 2.3 miles. Check out the Little Jimmy Spring, water was great and does not need to be purified. Campground was not crowded and the views are great! Only part of the trip that sucked was everyone who parked at the trail head had their cars broken into, mine included. There aren't any police or park rangers in the area and this seems to make the parked cars easy targets.

Pictures do not do justice. I am a pretty snobby hiker and this blew me away. Love love love!! If you are going to Malibu to hike, this is your trail!
