Amazing reward at the end of the hike.

Very easy trail

If you're looking for a nice trail running experience conveniently located, thos is a fun trail to run. Bikes should have the right of way, so during pretty days, you'll be yielding often.

Nice and relatively easy hike. Great views almost the whole way, especially in winter. Also, I saw a woman with a cat in a backpack. It even had it’s own little plastic bubble to look out of.

We camped at Foster Falls about 1.5 years ago in early October, and took advantage of the hiking and it is really beautiful! The falls is great, and looked like a cool place to swim and explore in the summer! The trail was easy to follow, and we watched some rock climbers along the way! Highly recommend the trail and the camping!

Really beautiful and some open bunkers along the hike you can go into. If your not pay attention to which trail your on you can end up hiking a very long way, which was fine with me!!!

A solid walk accessible for area residents. I frequently take my dogs (BC mixes: active/energetic) to let it out. The walk is scenic and requires minimal exertion for those interested in walking the whole loop. As a naturalist/trail runner, i appreciate; even prefer when the maintenance is somewhat lacking and trees are fallen in some portions of the trail. There are a few muddy spots for a few days after rain. Its a true “wild” area that i hope remains minimally impacted and rough for those of us wanting a quick dose of nature.

What an awesome place. Trails are very well marked
Many options maps are posted all along the trails you can change you plan on the fly. Nice place to mountain bike

Great hike to a beautiful location!

Beautiful and very diverse range of beauty if you do the loop.

Beautiful, easy walk that leads to good sized waterfalls. Our parents, who are older and not in great physical shape, really enjoyed the trail too.

Fun hike and easy.

Lots of trails to choose from. Super pretty! Had a lovely time!!!

We hiked this trail on Christmas Eve 2018 and had the trail all to ourselves. Sunny with the bluest of skies, couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! Gorgoues view of the TN River along the way.

Amazing view

Love it & our dog too

awesome trail with amazing views. steep start going down some rugged stairs but otherwise perfect trail to get your heart pumping and falling in love with the overlooks around the Tennessee river

awesome trail with amazing views. a must do hike for anyone visiting or living in Chatt-town

Such a beautiful area. I come there at least twice a month and there’s always so much to see.

Great little trail for a quick hike. Beautiful view of the Tennessee River! We love that we can access it by kayak.

First - directions from coordinates take you to an apparent complex (alexadra way). Do not turn in there - go past about 50 yards and it’s a parking lot on left.
Hike- great, not too hard nor too easy. The view at the top is incredible. We went when minimal leaves were on trees which made the over looks along the way more enjoyable. At the top, have great view at river and area. Swing bridge was cool and there’s a waterfall that also is nice. If you wanted just to go to the waterfall and bridge it’s not even half way. The other is very clear and easy to traverse.
Once cross the bridge it gets more technical but easy to do without anything to carry (no water or food; unless you just want to).
I hiked w my daughter and we had a great time. Started about 1:30 and finished about 5. Took our time and took a lot of pictures. Great time to talk & be w nature.
Will do this again.

Nice leisurely hike. Great trail to run on. Fall foliage was beautiful. Trail was less traveled but well marked.

The scenery is fantastic, especially in Autumn when the leaves are changing. There are plenty of ups and down, but it's mostly uphill until you reach the midway point. There are a bunch of roots and rocks, some narrow points and such. Overall, it's a nice, fairly easy hike, but I could definitely see it being a bit slick after a rain, and there are some rocks that certainly looked stable until I stepped on them.

Amazing place to spend the day. Cold water and beautiful waterfall. Not very much during the summer though. We took a dog too and had no issues. Lovely place. Kinda hard hike down into the canyon though.

I had a great time hiking and running on this trail with my daughter. The trail head was just off the exit from the highway and very easy to access, it was mid afternoon and there was no one else there. For a trail so close to a highway it felt very peaceful. I highly recommend this trail. Single track, rocky, nice hills, very beautiful.

Good ups and downs with reflective hallowed ground to take. Tall, thin trees of all kinds. Some fallen with some gnarly roots to check out. Great for families. Our fit bits marked the loop at 2.7 miles. The app says 1.5 and the sign to enter the trail says 1.7 so it must have got extended over time for a wider circle.

Great hike. The view is amazing

Buggy and lots of dense brush limits visibility

Definitely a good starter hike for anyone, including families. The walk was picturesque and the swinging bridge was particularly a healthy challenge for my kids. We loved hearing the stream, and finding so many kinds of leaves, fungi, rock formations, and bending trees to look at. Yet it was a bit odd to hear a nearby lawnmower as the houses in the area were very close and there were 2 sewer lids. One sign even said (paraphrasing) that there was unfiltered sewage emptying into the stream at one point. That made me feel very uncomfortable. The distance (1.6 miles) is also only for the loop. My oldest used his Fitbit and the entire hike is right at 2.4 miles.
