So pretty!

Fun little walk with great views of the lake! Good for all experience levels and ages. There are many areas to pop off the trail and go for a swim if the weather is nice. Some of the trail is poorly marked as well.

One of my favorite hikes. Pretty views of the lake. Tourist season can get a little trashy. We bring bags and pick up trash.

Amazing scenery right around the corner from the lodge. Hiked (I guess you could call it that since it’s pretty easy relative to 2nd or 3rd beach) once in the dark of night for some astrophotography shots and then again in the morning. Even though we had hazy weather the scenery was fantastic with great reflections off the beach.

Added on after hiking Mt Storm King and it was a pretty lackluster waterfall compared to others in the area. Trail was crowded due to being an easier hike.

loved it

Nice easy stroll. Beautiful scenery. We were short on time as it was getting dark but you could easily make this trail longer by following other trails or connecting.

Well maintained easy trail with some steep steps nearing the top of the waterfall, signs say no dogs allowed but the ranger seemed happy to look the other way when we walked by with our dog on leash.

Easier to find trail head from the south than the north. I hiked 2 miles on each end. Beautiful lake, beautiful day!!

Perfect beginners hike (I’m soooo out of shape and it was just enough to get my heart rate up), good for all age groups, GORGEOUS views and deliciously mystical in the rain. If you’re lucky (like we were) you might even see a herd of Roosevelt Elk on your drive in.

great easy hike.

This short little path was rather popular with the tourists on the day that I visited. But the nice view at the end was worth putting up with the crowds.

The first half of this hike was a 2-mile dirt path through the forest. It was a bit muddy at times, but not too bad. The second half was a comfortable 2.5-mile walk on a sandy beach to Point of the Arches. This stretch was breathtakingly beautiful.

We parked at the Sargent ave lot and there was broken glass everywhere at the trailhead. There was also trash (literally busted open bags on bags). We did a mile long loop and basically had no idea where we were going the whole time due to poorly marked trails. There was also an off leash dog wandering pretty far from its owner and kept storming up on our leashed dog. You can also hear the highways clear as day. Although the landscape and view is pretty, this park needs some serious TLC.

pretty much a walk in nature. beautiful trees that drape down and lots of ferns.

The trail was beautiful at every turn, and the destination was even better. We backpacked to the beach and did the hike to Point of the Arches. It was unlike anything we’d ever seen before. At low tide we saw starfish and anemones in tidal pools and on the rocks that were exposed. Sea stacks are all around, of course.

Be prepared to maneuver a muddy trail; hiking poles helped us immensely. Finding the old rope leading to the beach has now been replaced by stairs was a pleasant surprise.

nice and easy trail for an afternoon hike

This was my 2nd hike ever, loved the bridges and stone stairs. Absolutely gorgeous

I didn't like it. It is way too rocky and poorly marked. Plus, there was a billion people on the trail. But, Coeurdalene is beautiful and this is very close to the lodge.

Loved this hike near the CDA resort and lake. first half of the hike was easy, but second half of hike a lot harder. Main Trail signs hard to see as you can get lost quickly if you're not paying attention.

Make sure you have at least 4 hours to ride/read all the signs or you’ll be rushed

We went with our 5 and 7 year olds in the pouring rain. It was a great length and experience.

Beautiful Scenic Easy Hike and well worth it! If you're just needing a few miles to be active, get out of the house with the fam, or just get your steps in! Several trails to choose from...there a few challenging ones if you're wanting to be more adventurous!. There are some easy accesses to small beach areas. Can't say enough about Tubbs..Autumn/Fall is a wonderful time to go!

A sweet little trail to a lovely waterfall. We walked this Sept 28th and it was not too crowded.

Even though I almost got my girlfriend and I killed on the way there and on the way back, it was a great day.
Such a beautiful beach at any time of day in any weather. My girlfriend and our dog are trying to sleep away the traumatic experience of getting lost in the Olympic national forrest on low fuel and no cell reception. Bring a backpack to carry your stuff- I had a lot of stuff to carry. Oh and we saw a beached whale and four older men that looked like my dad except they were smiling- With the New Balance shoes and puffy vest, scarce hair and strange goatee- if you fit this description and you’re feeling down I highly recommend you visit Ruby Beach.
