this trail was a lot of fun. However having done this just after several days of rain I'd say this trail is fairly challanging when wet. several of the creek crossings were very wide and required light wading to get across. Nothing a good pair of high top hiker boots couldn't handle.
also it was very slick. leaves covered the mud and made some parts rather difficult. a few downed trees also required climbing to get around.
all and all it was a great hike.

Nice trail for a stroll through the woods, you kind of have to watch your step right now with all the leaves covering the rocks and roots.

This is our new favorite waterfall trail. Several beautiful falls before the big one. Can’t believe how this little creek makes such huge noisy falls. Trail is easy, did some rock hopping to get up to see the falls come through the cliff. Didn’t climb to the top, that looked very steep and treacherous. Started around 10, lots of parking spaces. Finished around 1. Parking was scarce.

This very easy trail was a pleasure, just a stroll really. There is a beautiful drive to get to the trail head. The facilities include a rest room and picnic area. The out and back walk is a little uneven with roots and rocks, so be a little extra careful in the fall when the path is covered with leaves. The last section down to the falls is a tad tricky but so worth it.

Great for the family!

Had a great day. Beautiful scenery. Will do again in the near future.

Unexpectedly beautiful waterfalls. Moderately busy on weekends in the Fall.

Enjoyed this quick visit.

This is my new favorite - had a little bit of everything - Hiked this Sunday, Nov 11, 2018, So many things to do. I believe the waterfall is one of the best I have seen in the Ga Mountains. Weather was perfect: sunny and 40 degrees. Wore jacket on way down and stowed it on the way up. Met some really nice people. As others said the bridge was destroyed but not hard using the fallen trees to cross. There is a sign about the route being closed due to the bridge. Please ignore that and enjoy yourself. Last point, if your vehicle does not have the clearance needed to cross a small creek you will need to walk a pretty good distance to start this hike. Not sure how far - someone else would know the distance. I drove the hike in a 2015 F250 Lariat - plenty of clearance.

I loved the views on this trail. It was a bit rooty but not bad. I am new to hiking and did the trail with ease. To get the cave with waterfall tho is a boulder climb which may be where you turn around! The bathrooms tho were horrid I held it the entire time because of how bad they were.

This trail it's self is nothing to talk about, but the falls are decent.

My family and I had a great time on this beautiful hike. We love hiking near water and this hike follows the creek more than 90% of the time. My daughters are 6 and 7 and pretty experienced hikers already. This was an easy hike for them and our 2 dog (Vizsla & Yorkie).

We went last Sunday and loved it!! Lots of little waterfalls and a beautiful view. Had to climb over a couple fallen trees and hop a few streams which was no trouble. Great hike!!

Easy trail, nice falls but I’d recommend going after rains for better water flow.

Beautiful hike! Did this with my sons last weekend. It was cloud and overcast, so we stayed cool. The falls are a great payoff. I don't recommend climbing to the top of the cliff, it has gotten very dangerous since my last visit a few years ago.

I have hiked about 100 trails with waterfalls and this trail is by far the most beautiful! Very easy hike in and out. Well marked and maintained.
There are actually two falls at the end with a smaller one along the way.
I would give it 10 stars if I could!!

Quick walk to eaither the upper or lower falls. I would rate it as easy with clearly marked paths. Wonderful hearing the water running while walking....

One of my favorite hikes now. The entire hike you’re hiking along a beautiful creek and the incline is easy/moderate until you get to the cliff-which is a very steep and slightly treacherous climb rather than hike but the views to see the waterfall and top of cliff are more than worth it

great trail! beautiful with the changing leaves. perfect length for a day hike.

Great hike! This is one of those hikes where the journey is a enjoyable as the destination...pretty woods, creek crossings, we took our dogs and they loved it as well.

Loved this trail!! I would say it’s an easy hike with sections of moderate. Mostly a steady grade except as you first leave the falls area! I traveled from the Cleveland area, GPS directed a different route going the falls than when I left. Take Hwy 64 route to access pull off areas with fantastic views.

Great hike! I would rate most of the trail easy and very pet/kid friendly. Many photo opportunities of the beautiful waterfalls.
if you want to climb to the top of the falls it is very steep and I would rate it as strenuous.

Beautiful hike with fall color and lots of photo opportunities. Don’t know that I’d rate it as moderate. More like an easy hike. Only a few ups and downs. Passed lots of kids and dogs. Lots of falls along the way. Lots of places to stop and have a picnic. Fall was running heavy after recent rains.

Absolutely beautiful hike and the waterfalls really nice to hear along the way. The leaves were falling and the contrast of colors were so nice. Loved this trail so much!

Wonderful trail! Follows a creek the whole way, so you get interesting scenery around every bend and the constant, calming sound of babbling water. Plus, there's plenty of places to stop, splash in the creek, or just set awhile and relax. Saw a lot of people camping along the trail.

The waterfall at the end was unique, but kind of a let down. But I didn't mind because the hike there and back was fantastic! This was a fairly crowded trail, so recommend going on a weekday if you can. My dog loved it, with plenty of shade and water to splash in so she stayed cool despite the summer heat.

Barely even a walk from the parking area, these falls are an easy two-fer! The lower falls are great for splashing around and cooling your feet after a long day of hiking. The upper falls are larger and more photogenic. Definitely navigate your way to the parking area by coming from Gainesville Hwy (Vogel State Park area). My GPS took me in from the other side (348) and that was a huge mistake! Poorly maintained dirt road that requires you to drive through a large creek. Wasn't sure my car was going to make it through the water and mud.
